A lot of the story quests in this game are just so damn repetitive. Every quest with this chick you chase someone down they are like “please it wasn’t me!” Jin says “we should let them go” and whatever her name is does le angry woman face and says something like “my grandchildren were murdered!” Every single one she makes the same face and says the same shit. Same with archer dude, which if I remember right you end up forgiving her and she gets away? Which is complete bullshit. The monks were pretty cool and the main story is pretty good but the side shit is repetitive in gameplay content and story content.

The hakagure didnt care about women at all. It was spcifically a book for samurai to follow, and women cant be samurai. Knowing the author tho he probably wouldnt care about it at all, as long as the woman doesnt claim that she is a samurai.
