buying things you have no intention of using is a sign of mental retardation btw

I don't have a backlog becouse I'm not a rabid consumer who needs to buy everything as soon as it comes out

Whatever makes you feel better about not showering retard

>implying you need to buy things
I keep a backlog of games I want to pirate/emulate

>backlog
there aren't enough good games so i finished my "backlog" years ago
i finished elden ring last week, even did PvP for an entire week only and now we're back to browsing Yea Forums and asking myself why all new anime is soulless garbage

imagine being this salty lol

i played GTA san Andreas, again.

>I only care about newest AAA schlock: the post
Do you only care about 1 or 2 genres or something?

So you just never got anyone anything for their birthday/christmas? Not even family?

I kick in door #3 only for a handful of games. Otherwise I slowly but sucessfully work through my backlog (which will last me 4 lifetimes). Don't really buy modern games unless they are jew, nigger and tranny free like Sekiro, Pathologic 2, Rain World, Return Of The Obra Dinn, Ori etc.
Saves me a shitton of money, too - which I can spend on other things in life.

So, yeah, I'm actually doing quite well.

no i don't, i like a lot of shit
give an example of what is worth my time, what are you playing now?

Battletoads

>tfw jrpgfag
i'm never going to finish it

I'm playing Xenogears and just finished F.E.A.R
Here are a few games from different genres I can also recommend
>Zachtronics
>Frostpunk
>Factorio
>Ender Lilies
>Underwater Ray Romano
>Divinity: OS
>Underrail
>Legend of Grimrock
>I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream

Easy enough to do when your tastes are extremely narrow and apparently restricted to only the most popular shit.

Poorly, I bought and finished a game though, so that's something.

>what are you playing now
>Stalker anomaly
>call of juarez
>star wars republic commando
>all the fucking games on my PS1 emulator
get some taste instead of modern AAA cookie cutter garbage

i literally like everything from FPS, action to strategy and even FF13
>you must only play popular games
>list consists of popular games
i have no idea what ray romano is but i played everything on that list except frostpunk and no mouth, and funny enough i actually thought about REPLAYING underrail

>cookie cutter garbage
>do i fit in now guiiiise
i finished all the ps1 games i was interested years ago, it's not like new ones are coming out
how does that help your argument, posting fucking old games like they'd still be on my backlog

Well hey if you played every PS1 game that matters sell me on some hidden gems you like, the only game in my backlog for it rn is Grandia.

still the same, havent bought anything new but still replayed ico and NaissanceE again

Just started Digimon World for the 76th time. Wish me luck bros.

You're bitching about how you have no games to play, so i gave you a small list of things. Stop being a cry baby faggot and try something new instead of playing what's currently popular.

Don't have one.
I just play the Sims 2 and Mass Effect over and over, and maybe some Rainbow Six Vegas 2 in between.

Attached: pls_no_bully.jpg (400x394, 44.13K)

I have a small list of games I know I want to play next. No idea if this counts as a blacklog.
Assassin's Creed Odysseys DLC
What Remains of Edith Finch
Myst

In the past I used to have a more tradional blacklog but the way I did it was misguided because it included games that I was not interested in playing but got recommeded to me by other people.

I don't have a backlog. I don't see playing games as a task.

That counts as using it, retard-kun.

I keep coming back to Sekiro because everything else I try to play ends up being a drag. The only thing besides Sekiro I enjoyed during the past six months or so was Sifu.

I have maybe a hundred or more games on my Steam profile that I've had for literal years that I have never played

>i finished all the ps1 games i was interested years ago
You couldn't possibly have, you retarded, zoomoid.
There are almost 8000 PS1 games.
I have meticulously handpicked only the best of the best over the years by researching and asking around here and on other forums and ended up with 377 games.
Even a failed abortion ADHD subhuman like you would take 50 years to finish them all. I mean actually FINISH them, not just zoomerspeak 10 minute zoom dipping and then moving onto the next one.
Stop posting any time.

I thought we established profound mental retardation the moment we opened Yea Forums.

finished call of juarez gunslinger; short and fun game. Now playing a combination of Beholder, Bayonetta and Rise of Nations

Awful. Total 80 games on both Steam and GOG. In fact, I just finished latest Pathfinder (200 hours in total) and think about next game to play. Maybe you could help me decide? Most likely picks are:

>Gears Tactics
>Fantasy General II
>Warborn
>Shattered Tale of Forgotten King
>Regalia of Men and Monarchs
>Mary Skelter Nightmares
>Ancestors Legacy

That's the fiest things that get into my mind so no point in digging deeper into backlog I guess. Thanks everyone for help!

just thinking about playing through vtmb for the 4th time

Play xpiratez

I tried once, unfortunately Im no longer capable of starting playing very old games, except of those I already know and Im familiar with so I bounced off. Im sorry, I might be 32 level wizard and still remember Atari games but I can no longer go back past certain point (SMAC is probably this point, more or less).

>why all new anime is soulless garbage
watch Ya boy Kongming

Across Steam and multiple old console emulators, I have over 100 games on my backlog.
That is already filtered and organized to series solely worth checking out.

Great self-control, patrician taste.

Yoooo I fianlly made sense out of the monty hall Problem. Basically if you picked a goat and you switch, you win every single time. So the only situation where you lose by switching is if you picked the car, which is a 1/3 chance.

I have 113 unbeaten games on Steam left
fuck ima be at my pc forever aren't i

Great, I've only got 87 games left to get through.

Then I can start on my console list.

Post the list please, I'm interested.

Literally me.

I dont keep a "backlog" because I play games for fun.

This is a problem with depression. Back in 2019 I managed to fix my life very briefly. Eating right, exercising every day, Lost a ton of weight. Then I noticed that I started to become more bold. I'd try out vidya genres I wasn't a fan of, and I'd force myself to play games that I was on the surface curious about instead of just replaying an old game and buying a game on sale and never touching it.

Now? I'm having chronic health problems and have fell back into the same hole. A few months ago I bought Ni No Kuni 2, and i haven't touched it at all. I've replayed Skyrim for the billlionth time, and new games just don't interest me. I'm hopeful surgery will fix my health problem as it is a chronic condition.

But not being interested in new games is a sign of depression: fix your life and vidya will become tolerable again. Humans seem to fall into a repetitive cycle with familiar things when they fall into a depression.

if we hadn't established your retardation earlier i would assume you'd be baiting.

I'm actually going through my backlog at a pretty decent pace (3-4 games a month), finished Sekiro (true ending) last week, finished the new lego star wars yesterday, now i'm pondering whether to play demon's souls, death stranding, yakuza 3 or outer wilds

Decently well, actually. I just finished Triangle Strategy yesterday and Stranger of Paradise a bit before that. My biggest problem is always deciding what game to pick up next. I've currently narrowed it down to 4 choices, but I'm still at a loss. Pls help
>Super Robot Wars OG
>Xenogears

Fo for Ancestors Legacy and play the Slavic campaign, user
t. Slav
I'd go with Demon's Souls, as long as you're talking about the original and not the remake. Otherwise, Death Stranding.

damn it's weird reading this because it's like i wrote it
i guess most of us here are the same

Waiting for my sister to move with me to touch it, feels bad playing by myself

Currently sitting at
Viewtiful Joe 2
PES 3 FES
The Secret of Monkey Island
Fire Emblem 7
And Port Royal 3
Hopfully done by the end of the month.

I've kept track of everything I've done this year because I strongly suspected that I drop more than I complete and... holy shit. Is something wrong with me? I always drop with a good reason but maybe I have to broaden my taste a bit, since that's a bit much

>Have games you want to play
>Play them later
?

It's a dman fine game, it's understanable. I replayed it last year as well, must have done it by now some 10-20 times over the years.

And I've kept a backlog for 3 years now, and each year it's gotten larger. Even now I think despite everything on there being from my backlog and me removing it once I finished/dropped the game, it's still gotten larger. At least that means I won't run out of things to do I guess
