good game, average sequel.

I want more

Good game. The only 7th gen game where piss filter gives SOUL to it

Its garbage

fun

I didn't ask for this.

I wish they'd have an option to let me skip the DLC mission because it makes the game way too fucking long

average game, didn't play the sequel because HR was too mediocre for me to care

Not a Deus Ex Sequel but a good game on its own.

I regret not playing it when it was new. I played it recently and felt like I was missing out on the magic.

What is MD like? Better gunplay, better choices, more freedom, or...?

A much better cyberpunk game than cyberpunk

Goty 2011, no doubt

Great game. I always flirted with the idea of buying Mankind Divided, but I can just feel it in my bones that it'd be a let-down to play.

I had low expectations going in but was pleasantly surprised.

Hmmm...

Get your head out of your ass.

all me

When are they making a new Eliza Cassan game

Stop being paranoid. It was something else.

Which was?

None of your damn business.

Good game slightly infected by the bullshit of games of the time, such as cover system. Not as good as the original but has great atmosphere.

directors cut sucks
>bad port of the wiiu game, based on older version of the game so its buggy
>shoves pre order bonuses up your ass at the start of the game
>shoves missing link into the ass end of the story messing up pacing
>removes soulfull piss filter and ruins lighting
great game otherwise

I'm playing Mankind Divided and feels weirdly clunky for an AAA game.

MD is good, but the main story is short.

better than the first one

Gameplay is like in HR. Story is retarded and the hubs/game felt kinda short. If you liked HR and don't care too much for the story then I'd advise to give it a spin.

One of the main criticisms were one time use consumable dlcs. I got them with the edition I bought but never used them anyway.

I thought Mankind Divided was far better than HR. The main story's relatively short because Square Enix didn't let them finish it but if you do most of (not even all) of the sidequests it's about the same length as HR.

Doing a playthrough rn. Installed some hardcore mod that rebalanced the xp system so there was less of a difference between lethal/nonlethal, changed up some of the merchants and inventory, and shifted your starting praxis a little. Also got this EMB that makes the visuals in Directors Cut look really good, I was surprised because my first playthrough was on the PS3 with the default golden filter.

Playing on GMDX rn, feels like playing a cod game on veteran, you drop so quick.
I already went hax0r/speech in my first playthrough, so I'm gonna stay away from that and upgrade other stuff first.

I will never not be mad they didn't bring Malik back. (Because, c'mon user, SURELY you're good enough to save best girl, right?)

>”an ay-ay-ay game”

It’s pronounced “a triple-A game”

the whole cast from the first game was great, especially Sarif. if a trilogy is really what they wanted to do with this, they had the formula, but they dropped the vial.

>pre MD release
>complain waste of resources on multiplayer featured and how that effort should be put on the single player
>articles and drones saying the game will be complete, it cannot affect development l, etc..
>game releases
>short campaign, unoptimized, multiplayer becomes a dead weight
>sales don't meet SE expectations for gaijin made games
>project is closed and team is put to souless capeshit

>short campaign
I don't understand this meme. Unless you're rushing through the main story MD is quite long. I recently had my first playthrough and it took around 30 hours. I'd consider that pretty much the perfect length for this kind of game. Add in the DLC and you get like 6 more hours.

It’s cause there isn’t another big hub after Prague whereas HR has two

I didn't mind the addition of a cover system to Deus Ex. The first game had you peeking around corners and going unseen while doing so, when realistically a guard would spot someone peeking around a corner that's only ten feet away and directly in front of him. It was cartoon logic.

The main problems with HR are the boring story and the character models, which are ugly and badly animated. They jitter around like marionettes and the lip-synching is never accurate to the diction. Witcher 3 managed to solve the problems with repeating NPC animation routines in dialogue-heavy games, and HR is an example of an older game which demonstrates just how detrimental those problems could be. Talking to HR NPCs will remind you of why Witcher 3 was so well received.

I'm not sucking off Witcher 3 - I don't even like it that much - but it did this one thing very well and made many of the 3D RPG games before it look dated.

I wonder what would be the result if you compared all the optional explorable areas in the 2 areas of HR vs Prague. It took me forever to explore Prague, and I still doubt I found everything. When you first get set loose in Prague I think it took me at least 7 hours before I started the first main mission. And then there was more exploring in subsequent visits and augmentation unlocks.

Better than deus ex

>The first game had you peeking around corners and going unseen while doing so
Guards always spot you when you peek, did you play on easy?

>It was cartoon logic.
What as opposed to your character being able to see everything ahead of him despite facing the ground while leaning against a block of concrete being serious real world logic? Jesus fucking christ the retarded shit you 7th gen console kiddies manage to think up is just baffling.

No I play on normal, and I usually get away with peeking if I do it quickly (which would still be noticeable in real life).

He's a cyborg loaded with augmentations. The third-person camera can be understood as an abstraction of his superhuman sensory powers.

>DUDE IT'S NOT CARTOON LOGIC, IT'S JUST CARTOON LOGIC!

One of the best wii u games

The DC is worth it just for the actual commentary. The drama this poster caused for example.

I made a post which mostly criticises HR and had one small, reasonable criticism of DE, and the only person who got angry about it was you, the DE zealot, who immediately started yelling about '7th gen kiddies' a spraying rabid foam all over you neckbeard. You're making the HR fanbase seem like the the more mature group.

You say retarded shit you get treated like a retard. I'd say I don't understand how you're having such a hard time coming to terms with such a concept but frankly seeing as you just might be literally mentally disabled, that would be a lie.

>Witcher 3 managed to solve the problems with repeating NPC animation routines in dialogue-heavy games,
you mean that repetitive animation loop of geralt looking around stoically as he talks?

Amazing game, amazing world, amazing OST that I still listen to all these years later.

I played it when it came out. Is the director's cut worth a play through or should I play the original again

Play director's cut if you want a shitty pace breaking DLC that removes all your skills and items throw in the middle and the game to be just as piss yellow as it was but also desaturated.

You’re right, it’s a Deus Ex prequel. Also stop taking your opinions from Ross.

Mankind Divided was better.

You're right that Prague is dense, and honestly MD isn't that short, it's just that the pacing is whack. When the story doesn't move forward that much and you spend most of your time in the same hub, then yeah, that gameplay is all gonna blur together for people. The sense of progression is fucked.

Will Adam ever pipe that one cop girl with his augmented serrated cock?

It's still a lot better that what had come before and most of what came after. RDR2 is the only game I've seen which has both a prodigious amount of dialogue scenes and mo-cap performances for them all.

The black undercover cop?
