Have you ever used Cheat Engine or something similar in games?

Have you ever used Cheat Engine or something similar in games?
If so for what exact situation did you use it?

I've used it in rpg maker porn games to skip the grind in some games to reach the porn faster

I remember in rune factory 4 there's some typhoons late game which absolutely wreck your crops, but you are able to prepare in advance for the coming storm

this one time I forgot to prepare and remembered way too late, it was a couple years back on the citra emulator, but with basically a few seconds left on the clock (game time was 5:50 or something, next day was considered 6:00) I had to scramble to find the variable for time

somehow I managed to find it and freeze it so my shit was safe but that was pretty surprising especially since it was an emulated title, I'm almost never able to find something as complex as time or the player's x and y coordinated but somehow, through sheer desperation it all worked out this time

For almost every single game i play, i check Nexus mods and Cheat Tables, even if i don't plan to use them.

I usually use it to cut down bullshit when there's a game that expects me to grind or farm.

Cheating.

Yep, I tried using the speed-hack thing to get into a private ranked lobby in a game (I'm actually retarded) and ended up getting a VAC ban because of it.

No

I am honestly worried that I will not use it correctly or forget it on or something one day and end up with a VAC ban.

This and also disabling the random encounters when I got sick of them

I use it for FOV settings in certain games. I also used it for releveling areas in the old Amalur. That has been fixed in the new one.

I used CE to give myself infinte DP in Yu Gi Oh GX Tag Force, I wanted a cool deck and wasn't going to grind for hours.
Also used a save editor for Xenoblade 2 to give myself infinte crystals because Tiger Tiger is fucking dumb.

>Have you ever used Cheat Engine or something similar in games?
Yes.
>If so for what exact situation did you use it?
When I thought it would be more fun than not using it.

i used it on elden ring and pretty much all soul games to 'farm' for armour sets i like.

Yep, pretty much this. I just wanna coom for god's sake.

Cheat engine is only fun to use when the game is good, it really does show how terrible a game is when you remove the grind or some shitty progression filter.

For a third person view in Borderlands 2

>Have you ever used Cheat Engine or something similar in games?
Yeah
>If so for what exact situation did you use it?
Because I fucking wanted to, next question.

Does it work with Sea of Thieves user?

Used it to block invasions in DS3.

To obtain Club Penguin items

I do on every single player game whatsoever so that I can to get max enjoyment out of things, it's hilarious to see social autists cry about me doing it too

I used it to cheat at a hentai shmup because it was Japanese level difficult and I wanted to see the 'content'.

Noita is good fun with cheat engine and just fucking around with stuff. Discovered there’s a whole world in the sky if you just keep flying up.

Pretty much this, if the majority of the games content is just grinding and rng bullshit then it's content I can do without.

I also use esp in online games because ruining other people's fun is the only reason to play with others

you can keep going and find an entire parallel dimension, and another one parallel to that, etc.

Holy shit, really? Is any of this shit attainable without cheats somehow?

I open it along every new game I launch for the first time

Yes, the game has an insane amount of things you can do and get to without even ever entering the cave right at the start.

You can use this shit on FFXIV despite the game being an online only live service. Zero fucking cheating detection, it's insane.

i used it to rename my monster hunter world character

Yeah but for what purpose? I'm sure most of the shit is server side

I used speedhack to get through that stupidly log route back to the 3 adversaries in front of the giant pot

mostly getting to unreachable places, you can see bots running through the air a lot because the game just doesn't give a fuck

I made 2 custom cheat engine tables for Genshin Impact and GTA 5, shit's fun and actually is a good way to get you introduced to game hacking
bro your fearlessrevolution?

I doubt it - it's online game. There's probably a good reason why nobody does. This is the shit you get VAC banned for. I've only ever used CE in offline games.

i use it in Xenoverse 2 to shortcut collecting the Dragon Balls and use it in REmake 1 and 2 for unlimited reloads. those are the two most recent uses i can remember.

after spending hours trying to farm mats for 100% in Replicant ver 1.22 I decided to give Yoko Taro a middle finger

Go fast, teleport to parts of the map, no-clip through areas, you can go into a dungeon and speedrun it lmao

Game is dead anyways so nobody would see you doing it.

I used it in Dark Souls when it still required GFWL. It started out as a need to fight back against instant curse daggers and invulnerable invaders but eventually I used it to create minibosses in the pvp arena and give myself infinite glow stones so I could make funny shapes.
>make my character huge
>equip stone armor
>change name to something cheesy like Guardian of the Ancient Forest
>dont roll or run only walk and attack
>use a boss ability every so often
I think most people were just confused but maybe some people liked it.

when I replay RPGs that i've already beaten i'll CE myself max money first thing and go HAM on consumables and the best gear at every shop because why the fuck not

Give my character in nioh 2 big titties and ass

Dragonfable. Got all the super rare items and a bunch of dev stuff, was pretty cool. 10 years I think.

the coomer mind is a legit enigma to me i don't understand people who play porn games at all. you can literally google 'porn' and get one billion results. what the fuck is the point of playing a game when all you care about is the porn aspect, especially if you PAYED for a fucking porn game. what the fuck is the point?

tell me more

I use it all the time, speedhack is a godsend on any RPG with grinding or openworld game where you have to travel great distances of nothing between objectives. Also I use it to bypass any of those collect x of y and deliver them to z style quests, collect one isolate value increase to value required, turn in quest, done. Just saved myself 3 hours of collecting centaur perineums.

Porn without context is boring, try a porn game its vastly superior to other forms of porn. I literally can't get off to regular porn anymore. There is a world of difference between playing a game for 3 hours and finally getting to a porn scene versus just looking up the image set on sadpanda.

I forgot that was actually for dragons dogma. Nioh 2 has mods for big titties, highly recommend it. Though not the extreme versions or else look too big

Usually if I've invested a good amount of time into a game and it's starting to be a bit of a grind, I may hack in some items or money or exp modifier to help make the tedium less severe. I'm 35 years old, I ain't got the mental acuity to sit and grind for 50 hours like I used to as a kid. I have children, a wife and a job to factor in.

Only single player games though, and not all. Didn't NEED to cheat in games like Red Dead Redemption 2, or Witcher 3. Well paced games like that, that are always engaging and never boring. Just shit like JRPGs and games with a lot of backtracking or fucking around.

Then, you have cheating for fucking around. Recently completed Bloodstained, so after I finished it I was fucking around in CE to see how much I could break the game.

you dropped this king

Ah yeah, speed hack.
Been using that on Coromon. The game feels so slow playing on 1x now. 2x is far more free and easy.

>game has a gacha mechanic
>expects me grind rare currency or buy it form their shop
>give myself 9999 premium rolls with CE

Used it for eden tokens in Isaac, I already got dead god, so why would I need to farm them pointlessly?

I use it all the time. Cut down grinding, remove annoying resource management, save yourself from frustration, optimize the way you use your free time. It's a fucking blessing. When you kids grow up you'll understand.

I remember using this a lot when playing x-com long war on impossible difficulty.
I didn't care, I wanted to see how broken it was against the player.

Yes, freecam to look underneath characters' skirts

I usually use it in case I have to grind for money etc. I barely died in sekiro and bought wallets, but still lacked money for all the unique purchases, so i just cheated money.

Only for maplestory and to hack old games for fun.

I used it to skip the grind to unlock towers in BTD6, makes no sense you have to play so many hours with each tower just to be able to use all their paths.

Back when I was a kid I'd duplicate rare candies in emulated pokemon gen 2 and 3.

I used it to get past an unfairly hard level in Crimsonland.
>You didn't beat the game!!
And you didn't have sex.

when shadow of war still had the retarded loot boxes I cheated in a shitload of the premium lootbox currency because fuck lootboxes

I use it to cheat things I cant be bothered to grind for like stats in hentai games.

for rpg maker games I prefer using MTool over CE, much easier to use
