people really dont know what a network test is supposed to do
it's SPECIFICALLY for a situation like this. If the game launched and you couldn't play it, like 98% of MP games ever created, then you'd have more of a reason to complain. This is literally just to make sure that the full release actually functions properly.

Well we did end up testing their network, so I guess it's serving it's purpose.

Though I'm still bummed out

EVO had more people playing it than GBO had people trying to play it

And people apparently can't read announcement too. We have two sessions today, then two sessions tomorrow and then another two sessions the day after tomorrow. Next week we have another network test, without split into two sessions, all weekend long.
I know after EVO's network test people expect the same thing with BO2 network test, but it's pretty clear bamco bet more on EVO than BO2, so while I understand it's quite suck, but just wait for the second session or tomorrow, or if you want a more (hopefully) polished network test, then wait next week

they should make sure that their servers can be connected to with numbers less than half of what the other gundam game that just network tested had at a bare minimum. This is like trying to test drive a car but they forgot to build the ignition. that's not a mistake that should come up in playtesting because that should have come up long before a customer was even asked to sit inside and smell the leather.

GBO had a state of play and E3 announcement, BO2 just kinda sorta appeared on steam without any marketing. Which sucks, because BO2 is an objectively better game

They didn’t even fucking test the real stress of having people play the fucking game you retard. 5K people at a loading screen should not have been something to stop this outside of pure incompetence for a game that’s been out for YEARS on console and has had real experience on what to expect and handle. If you think this title screen shit wasn’t something that should have been solved hour 1 then you’re just as retarded as the team behind this.
