I can honestly see Edelgard, Dimtiri and Claude having unique "axe lord/lance lord/wyvern bow lord" movesets too even if superficially the functional role is identical to armored knight/lancer/wyvern lord but with a bow too.

It has shit move so it only works on Yuri because he turns infantry into pseudo-cavalry classes. This allows him to epxloit the fuck out of the trickster swap-teleport which is basically mandatory in the DLC.

Armors will have certain moves, and the other half will be based off their weapon type. Relics will probably have their own specials and unique classes like Edelgard's lore class will probably get their own special move as well, at least one unique combat art super most likely.
The major difference will likely be stat growths which will alter how effective the character is in their class/weapon loadout.

Dimitri has his iconic spear throw attack, so I'd imagine Edelgard, Claude and Dimitri having unique movesets. I'd imagine Dedue using a generic Axe Armor Knight moveset, while Hilda has an Axe Infantry moveset. Which is what FEW should have done instead of basing the moveset off a specific character like Wyvern based off Camilla and Samurai based off Ryoma, which led to dumb shit like Minerva using magic and Owain using the HOshido crit kick and Raijinto.
