It is good tho, the story might be meh sometimes, but the exploration, world building and the music are extremely nice and eventhough the gameplay is very streamlined and simple, at its core it's still a fun game and a high quality game with new update and events every 2 week no matter how much user in here want to scream chink shill, gacha shit and chinese bitcoin miner.

Geralt's a cool dude, but his story is over, they could send the reins to someone else, but I'd rather just have a traditional RPG with character customization at this point, figured it'd be an inevitability for the setting.

It really isn't as bad as most people think. The gameplay is nothing new but it's also one of the best if not the best sci-fi RPGs to have come out this decade. The bugs were just fuel for the bandwagon. It's still broken btw, especially for the potato consoles of the last gen.

OP's pic means they are firing the studio that was working on the remaster and doing it in-house. They're spreading themselves thin, more like it. They do have at least one expansion in the works. I think because of how the game was received, it doesn't have the same staying power as Witcher 3 so it'll get that one expansion and they'll move on.

Would be a shame. The release was rushed, but fundamentally, Cyberpunk 2077 is better than any of the Witcher games and it annoys me that it's probably gonna take forever to get a sequel.

What are you talking about? Lost Ark was immensely hyped up by big mmo streamers like Asmongold, yet Elden Ring was neck on neck with Lost Ark in concurrent players for the initial release week and since then has consistently been beating it in the last couple of weeks.

Interestingly that's what they originally were going to go with for the first Witcher game. You can see it in the footage for alpha builds of the Witcher. Where it was closer to Neverwinter Nights on account of using the Auroa engine.

wasn't the trial of the grasses something that was seen as unnecessarily dangerous and deadly? I vaguely remember some dialog in the game Geralt had with either Vesemir or one of the other Witchers that not all of the Witchers at Kaer Morhen even went through the trial of the grasses.
