This, but from my experience (maybe it's just xemu?), you can't just take redump isos and use those, there's a bit of a process to make the games work, and I'm not referring to the bios/hard drive images. But aside from that, I've been having fun emulating JSRF, it's great.

Also even if you don't mind the crashes, the launcher itself may not work at all on your pc. It's easy to get around it, but if you do you cannot change the graphics settings at all.

I still have my original jsrf i bought on release. Apparently its worth a lot more than the jsrf/sega gt combo. Game was really special. As awesome as the soundtrack is, i took advantage of the Xbox custom soundtracks feature and used to just groove for hours on end. I need to pick up an og xbox again because all i have is a 360 to play that and outrun

Gum's one of my favourite character designs of all time and taught me a harsh lesson: most people who draw fan art don't appreciate the character and just wanna draw porn with her as a kind of skin. I've never seen a character (that I care about at least) with so much off-model garbage fan art that loses what made the original design unique, sexy and cool.

I'm literally learning to draw so that I can balance the cosmic scales in her favour (even if it's just a little bit) by putting out some decent art of her amongst the sea of shit.

Anyway, the original is superior in just about every way to Future. Better character designs, I prefer the gameplay and stages, better colors and an immensely better soundtrack.

The JSR designs completely mog the Future designs. JSR designs managed to look like a cool blend of Shibuya chic, hip-hop and futuristic aesthetic. Future's designs are just giant messes that look like nothing. Mew to Ryth is a crime.

Interesting. I personally used XDVDMulleter to extract and rebuild the iso because other solutions either did not work or were taking way too long to convert it.

Played it on steam recently and the 20 fps limit makes it feel so bad. I love the game but it just doesn’t feel good to play.
