90's was great. It was good having good games released every week instead of realistic graphics causing games from a single developer to release once every 4 to 7 years.

society was holded beneath the waterline in the late 1970s when we let finance capital win out over industrial capital. everything since then has been an extension of that error. the 90s was the last decade where there was a realistic chance to change course and instead we doubled down. the cultural effects weren't immediately noticable or negative, but their long term consequences are undeniable.

The 3DS isn't perfect at SNES either. VC Injection for it is bad and SNES9x is the best running option but it fucks up the sound effects. GBA injection on the 3DS is godlike though.
