A new Deus Ex will 100% be some open world city like cyberpunk with a new protagonist completely missing the point of the globe trotting adventure of the other games. The only thing HR is better at is story and pacing and maybe performance. MD is leagues better in every other way

The games got put on the backburner because SE wanted to focus more on making Marvel games, and the film adaptation of Human Revolution ended up being scrapped because the director put the project on hold after being asked by Marvel to direct Doctor Strange.

Also the AI, music (though it's music wasn't bad) characters, weapon variety, and hubs. Prague was overrated and every hub in HR was superior.

Strangely enough, the AI is objectively worse in Mankind Divided. You can open doors infront of enemies and they don't react to it at all. Enemies in Human Revolution will actively react to this action if they don't see anything opening the door. And I think they're just generally dumber as well.

I'm with you on everything except Prague and the AI, which I at least didn't notice it being any better or worse than HR. In terms of Prague, I genuinely think it's one of, if not the best over worlds of that generation. Comically dense, incredible to look at (seriously Eidos's environmental art team is one of the best in the industry) and tons of options to sequence break content. Sure in a broader sense it sucks that it was the only over world, but it's the best one of the entire franchise if you ask me.
