i dont think ive ever seen this topic on v, always wondered if this was an experience other anons have had.
i feel this with a lot of games. i shared everything i loved with my ex who i also loved dearly. a lot of those things require a harsh adjustment period to get back into and certain games can just be impossible for me to play without feeling nauseous. i also get sick and anxious when i see her favorite games so i have to avoid them at all costs basically, just to keep her off my mind.

My cat is one of those insanely picky eaters that wont eat cheaper stuff like Friskies large cans and only want specific types of flavors, covid fucked up supplies so i should have bought it in bulk

Every time I try to play Burnout Revenge, a Mario Party, or a Ratchet and Clank game I end up losing someone. Last was Mario Party in November and my grandparents died in a week of each other.

A steam friend i knew told me they were struggling to pay back debts/bills and i constantly would ask them for a free game every so often. The last game they gifted me was Rift, they never came back online and i never touched it cause i felt like shit.

I have never seen the rest of this game because that year my original cat finally lost it and started attacking people, getting vicious, etc. Youd think it was a pit bull the way it acted and we literally needed to get a pet service to drag the cat out of the house safely. Just horrible screeching it made.

The cat i currently have is still alive and is starting to make similar loud noise so im getting concerned now. Maybe old age makes some animals lose it?

They're prone to it and while they didn't get violent or anything my cat did start making the loudest most annoying sound I've ever heard before we took him to the vet to get him checked.

It can also start causing things like blindness (which is why we brought him to the vet - he didn't seem to be seeing so well in general, and one day his eye suddenly had a streak of blood in it) so that could very well cause them to lash out.

Just don't let them rip you off. Vet didn't bother telling me he didn't have much time left and just sold me a bunch of expensive shit instead. Just another doctor being dogshit because all that matters is the money, as per usual in my experience. Had to have him put down 5 weeks later when he suddenly couldn't even lift his head anymore.

I played the entirety of Drakengard 3 completely wasted on alcohol every single session. I don't think I can take the final boss seriously without remembering I literally sat on the floor one night and did the fucking arm flailing dance the boss does during the fight, while taking swigs of honey whiskey.

I was getting bullied in school when BotW came out. It didn't ruin the experience entirely but one of my memories with that game is save summing for the amiibo costumes in a canyon somewhere around Death Mountain right next to a lynel while thinking about how miserable my life was, and fantasizing about being friends with my bullies.

That sucks, I was bullied early on, but then just lost it when I became a teenager and anytime someone said anything in the slighest to me that I didn't like I'd start fighting them. I never became a bully, but people did keep their distance and learn to fear me.
