Do you even play the game. You can't sell the gear bags. You constantly get bags full of garbage gear that you either have to sell individually or dismantle and sell the mats individually which isn't much better. To craft ascended anything you need a fuckton of gold which you have to grind bags for. This wouldn't be as big of an issue if everyone had to do it and you couldn't just P2W and buy gold outright. They also lock any decent looking armor behind a pay gate. I think GW2 does a lot of things right but don't lie and say it's consumer friendly.

It's garbage but I can't stop playing and I don't know why. Like look at this fucking eyesore and tell me this is a quality game.

Yes, if you're into horizontal progression. I'm not sure why there is such a hate campaign in every GW2 thread from Anons, as a new player, it's really jarring to see a bunch of people shitting on the game and then being called out for having years old information. I have a feeling it might even be OP that is doing all the shit posting but who knows.

GW2 for me, as a new player is a really enjoyable experience to the other mountains of shit that is the MMO market. It respects my time, I'm not on some insane gear treadmill and I can experiment with builds on my whim whenever I want. My gear is relevant always and I can push it to min max levels to squeeze out 10% more DPS if I really wanted to. There is so much to do that I have been playing the game for 1 weeks straight and have only just got into HoT, meaning I have 2 more expansions and 3 Living World Seasons things a head of me.

That is a metric shit ton of stuff to do and that is just the iceberg as far as I know. It's the only MMO that actually feels like an MMO. I've had players give me gold because I was asking them questions as a new player, one of them even gave me 100G to get my Exotic set started. META trains where you run around with 50-70 other players and do content together feels really great, especially due to the fact that the events themselves are insanely fun. META events also scratch my Musou itch as well.

I don't know, as a new player I feel that this is an MMO that respects my time while allowing me to grind the everliving shit out of it when I want to. I don't feel like I'm ever being put behind so much that I play just for the sake of not being behind.
