Pretty sure Vaatividya also said the resin from the roots in the catacombs is from the Erdtree, not the Greattree.
So why is the conclusion in that pic "there is no greattree"?

Greattree is a mistranslation on that item. The term 大樹 gets used elsewhere to mean Erdtree.
Here is some of D's dialogue

The official translation says "Erdtree" here, which makes sense since that is the only tree anyone ever mentions dead people "returning" to.
There is also an item in game called 大樹と獣のサーコート, the description of which mentions it depicts the Erdtree.
There is also this dialogue from a finger reader literally telling you to go to the great tree

> [101100050] O Tarnished, hasten to the foot of the tree.
The way they talk about the Erdtree is just inconsistent. At one point Enia even calls it the 世界樹

So the translation should be Great Tree? Because if the Erdtree has several names, I think it's fine to reflect that in translation.
