Some people do not want to deal with certain aspects of PC. PC is a better option. It does have a slight learning curve, and you do sometimes have to tweek things. Certain people do not want to deal with that.

not everyone likes to use personal computer for video game playing

couch gaming

Attached: games.jpg (2704x2028, 596.87K)

I have a pretty decent PC (3060ti, 3700x) and I still bought a Switch and PS4, even though I know I can emulate Switch. Though to be honest my PS4 is more of a Blu-Ray player for me than a gaming console

I couch game with my PC all the time.

a console is literally a gaming pc for dummies

yeah I don't live in my mom's basement

and video games are a hobby for dummies, who cares?

I own two houses and my own businesses. Try again faggot.

mom doesn't count ;)

not everyone is ok with waiting. i bought a ps3 to play mgs4, then i also played persona 5 on it. if i had reasoned like you do, i would still be waiting like a cuck
that said, the ps4 and ps5 still don't have a single game i'm interested with which is why i have not bought them, and when they finally get a good exclusive i will.

>I couch game with my PC all the time.
just because you can, doesn't mean you should

couch gaming with a pc sucks in comparison to a console, you could have a 3090 and still have a demonstrably worse experience even just factoring in the ui differences
>b-b-but muh steam big picture
cancer for anything outside of games, imagine needing to configure ANYTHING to start playing right away, consoles are just a convenience thing

complaining about the existence of consoles when convenience is the obvious reason for their ownership just sounds like a bunch of poorfag cope or sour grapes after a big expenditure

Don't care for pc gaming and pcfags are the most insufferable people on the planet. They treat the platform that they play videogames on like it's a lifestyle. I couldn't care less that Xbox exclusives are also available on pc, I'd choose to play them on xbox any day of the week.

I buy one console and I'm done

I buy a pc and I'm constantly upgrading and then shit doesn't work regardless

ps5 is for braindeads and long time fans who cant be pragmatic and wont admit im right. only reason right now is the fact gpu market is kinda fucked. for now anyway.

Because it takes years?
Spider-Man, a game from 2018 isn't on PC yet, and looks like it isn't going to be for a while.

>ps5 is for braindeads and long time fans who cant be pragmatic and wont admit im right
Answer me this, if you were a PlayStation fan that had a PS4, why wouldn't you get a PS5? It's literally an upgrade in every way and you already have a couple of current-gen exclusives with more on the way. Seems like a no-brainer.

>What's the point of buying a console when console "exclusive" games will be releasing on PC anyway?
I know it's bait, but sometimes I wonder if people like OP; are really this stupid

>if you were a PlayStation fan that had a PS4, why wouldn't you get a PS5?
not him but my reason is because i'm tired of third person action exclusives and polyphony just proved they lost the ability to make compelling racing games

There's also plenty of games that will never be ported like certain licensed anime games, Godzilla PS4, Yakuza Ishin, and probably all Japan Studios and Vanillaware titles. For people that like Japanese games, a pc isn't even in question, a PS4/5 and Switch covers everything

>what's the point of getting a $500 machine to play games when you can match performance with a $1500 PC?
Gee idk user, you tell me

>couch gaming with a pc sucks in comparison to a console
Why? I have a $30 Android box hooked up to my TV and use it to stream games via Nvidia Gamestream/Moonlight and it works perfectly.

>Why?
i use my living room tv for more than just games, i use it for media

something like an xbox makes general navigation with one input device much faster and more convenient than any pc setup, but that's just one of the benefits for my case

>stream games
no way fag, i'd rather run an hdmi cable than deal with any amount of streaming latency

also moonlight is available on xbox if i really cared about streaming from my desk

>use it for media
cheap Android box or any smart TV does this as well
>any amount of streaming latency
unless you have a shitty router or you play FPS crap latency is unoticable

macbook+console combo is best. i don't want to sit on my ass all day or killing my eyes looking at windows on a TV screen. and i don't want a pc laptop which will cook my balls. macbook+console fits the bill.

>cheap Android box or any smart TV does this as well
one box that does it all is better than two, i also want to play games and an android box doesn't play the games i want
>unless you have a shitty router or you play FPS crap latency is unoticable
maybe to untrained eyes like yours, but i prefer a native experience

the pc stays in the office for rts while working, i'l do the rest of my gaming in the living room on a console

>i don't want a pc laptop which will cook my balls
bad troll, this comic is from 2009 and still true today

Attached: macbook1.jpg (716x1052, 214.04K)

not a troll. i have a spare pc laptop too (11th gen). i need it for some windows related compatibility, but x86 are a truly fucking scam in mobile. there's a reason why ms has been trying to move to arm themselves.

also that comic doesn't even apply to what i said. they moved to arm too. i didn't like their old shit either. you're just proving my point.

>smart TVs can install Steam link app, Moonlight, and even have HDMI Cables
>I can pair my controller to my TV and play PC games with them
>Playnite and Steam Big picture mode exist
>Can pair Xbox, Playstation, and Nintardo controllers to it
>Can emulate any Nintardo game on a low end card
PC gaming is fucking comfy on my 4k Sony Bravia. Get fucked faggot.

Attached: 1649437456386.jpg (1024x738, 75.95K)

>PC gaming is fucking comfy on my 4k Sony Bravia.
i have a sony bravia too (x850g) but it doesn't make pc gaming comfy on the couch

btw streaming software is faggot cope for pc fats who have the same impatience that normal people have with pc gaming on the couch, and even then you'll likely still need more than one input device just to search for shit

the gaming itself is comfy as console, i think. it's just windows, even magnified at 300%, is not good on your eyes after awhile. i'd recommend people to split their regular computer usage on a monitor or laptop next to tv gaming.

To each their own. I'd rather attach a PC to my TV directly, and I can play an entire library of games that eclipses all consoles combined, because I can emulate them.
>btw streaming software is faggot cope for pc fats who have the same impatience that normal people have with pc gaming on the couch
What's so bad about it? My TV is on the same LAN as my computer and streaming with the Steam Link App works perfectly. I can stream it to any TV in my home, all 4 of them, as long as the app is installed. You can't do that with a console. You're stuck on 1 tv.
>and even then you'll likely still need more than one input device just to search for shit
You can pair any bluetooth device to a PC. Bluetooth headphones, keyboards, mice, Wiimote, and controller. This isn't an issue, its more of a perk. I know you're happy to defend your console faggotry, but PC on Smart TV's is fucking 10/10. On console, you're stuck with what ever device you HAVE to buy for that console. On PC I get more versatility and variety. Just the other day I was playing Metal slug with by friend on 2 different screens on 1 PC. Show me a console that can do that.

>to each their own
>console faggotry
are you too autistic to understand convenience?

>Just the other day I was playing Metal slug with by friend on 2 different screens on 1 PC. Show me a console that can do that.

autism detected, spouting a use case that doesn't make any sense

i don't need to do that when i can play metal slug 2-player on the same screen with a couchbro

Try playnite, if you're running your PC directly to your computer through HDMI. Its very comfy. I use the Xbox Big Screen theme.

How does it handle media?

I use both because I'm not a fag. PC is obviously better and I use it more lately since I finally was able to upgrade my gpu, but sometimes it's just nice to kick back on the couch and remind my dog it's not just a very large expensive bed she can nap on while I'm at work.

What's the point of buying a pc when pc "exclusive" games will be releasing on console anyway?

>are you too autistic to understand convenience?
How is it inconvenient? I get options you don't have and get to play legacy games you can't run on many screens you can't use. If you find PC gaming on a TV as inconvenient, you're just a retard.

>autism detected, spouting a use case that doesn't make any sense
>i don't need to do that when i can play metal slug 2-player on the same screen with a couchbro
Not everyone lives in a single bedroom / studio / parent's car. Gaming on multiple screens on 1 pc is comfy. I don't expect a consolefag to understand because you're only able to use your tools for 1 thing.

Very well. I installed Crunchy Role, Spotify and Hulu apps to my living room PC just in case I don't feel like switiching over to the smart TV app. I also run a home server which I linked to my playnite interface. A few of my PC's run linux so I have to use alternative Open Source software for those use cases.

>How is it inconvenient?
i've already said numerous times that pc gaming is shit in the living room from a ui perspective, a console is faster for everything, media, streaming, games, you name it

also all my legacy games run just fine on xbox through retroarch and an external drive

>Gaming on multiple screens on 1 pc is comfy.
my main tv is 85", gaming on multiple screens with a display like that is just autistic behavior, especially if you're looking at the same output

multiseat gaming is based. Back in the day we would throw a lan party with my little cousins. 1 crappy laptop with i3-380m was more than enough to carry two xash3d (halflife client) and the rest would play on their mothers phones. many games are easy to convert to multiseat if they support windowed mode

Sounds like a mess but glad it works for you.

>Will be releasing on PC

That's a reason in itself because you fags are constantly begging for ports of console games despite how often you tout your superiority

>you fags are constantly begging for ports of console games despite how often you tout your superiority
this, you see this shit all the time in thinly veiled portbegging threads, they'll complain about how there's no pc port of a bunch of ancient games that are all back compat on xbox

What's the point of being born when we'll just die

user, many people don't wanna spend double the price of a scalped PS5 to play console ports, unoptimized multiplats, and emulate archaic console games. What's not clicking?

Attached: 1624507512802.png (1454x1468, 2.83M)

>i've already said numerous times that pc gaming is shit in the living room from a ui perspective, a console is faster for everything, media, streaming, games, you name it
My PC does all that and more. There are also many frontends for UI to choose from. My favorite is playnite.
>also all my legacy games run just fine on xbox through retroarch and an external drive
My PC does that and more. Don't even need an external drive since my PC has 24TB of space. You can't even run games in 8k or apply hi-res shaders and upgrades to your roms on xbox. You will never play OG Demons Souls with a graphics over haul.
>my main tv is 85", gaming on multiple screens with a display like that is just autistic behavior, especially if you're looking at the same output
Again, if I want to play my games on my smart projector on my roof top terrace, and my PC is in my living room, I don't have move it. I can just pair my controller to my projector, load up a game and play. You have to move the entire device and get a multi port extension cord just to do what takes me 1 step.
PC gaming is fucking comfy. I can't imagine using a console and its shitty limitations without feeling like a faggot (you).

Attached: 1631279903329.jpg (2000x2434, 1.94M)

Why do I have to beg when I can just emulate Xbox 360 and Xbox original games.

Attached: Lost Odyssey-4.jpg (3840x2160, 1.31M)

Its fucking super based! I love multseat gaming.
Lol sure. 1 device that can be played on any screen in my home is "a mess" lmfao.

BASED

>noisy, dusty, clunky desktop case with multiple fans
>alt tab if you want to use the internet
>games are rarely prioritised for pcs
>compatibility issues
>no exclusives
>far more cheaters and hackers
>digital only

I fell for the PC meme and it was probably worth the performance increase for about a handful of titles. I soon went back to consoles, no regrets.

>making up scenarios in head to justify couch gaming on pc

Attached: stewart.jpg (300x168, 23.19K)

How is having a smart projector a made up scenario? Its fucking common. Console fags really don't understand a device that can do many things lol.

Attached: 1632176895258.jpg (2941x1570, 654.52K)

If you ever, EVER have to switch UIs or input devices to go between different media and games, you didn't couch game.

Hey don't forget the ps5 pro is around the corner

having a smart projector may be common, but none of your use cases are

>having a dirty computer
>not realizing you have to exit the game to use a browser on a console
>doesn't know about PC exclusive genres
>doesn't know about console cheaters and hackers
>doesn't know what dvd and bluerays are
Consolefags...

Console has the cheapest barrier to entry if you’re only going to be playing a handful of games per year and you’re not interested in online multiplayer. An often overlooked fact is that most peoples’ computers are weaker than a PS4. You have to deal with price gouging if you want to get a nice graphics card and other components. A lot of people are okay with just getting the PS4.

You don't have to, once auto pair is set up you're fine.
Lol sure. Having a home with more than 1 screen is fucking rare. lmfao.

I tried this. It sucks. Keep the desktop on the desk, that’s where it’s most comfortable and practical.

>being so poor you need to network and stream one device
pc fats sure love to compromise on their vision don't they

$$$. Still trying to upgrade my GPU at a reasonable price. Guess I'll be waiting for a while.

And you have to use Microsoft’s buggy shitty software OS to do anything.

>misunderstanding more than half the points

Glorious PC master race...

Attached: dinalaugh.jpg (217x240, 9.39K)

PC games run like shit, PS5 is cheaper, has no DRM, haptic feedback, physical games, Wolverine, Spider-Man, a cheaper VR, the list goes on

Oh yeah, and PC always gets the shittiest ports of all the games that you actually want to play.

>exit the game to use a browser on a console
what is quick resume
in fact they can all run in the background and start right up where they were
>pc exclusive genres
let's hear you beg for ancient burnout and ssx games again
>console cheaters and hackers
nowhere near as prevalent as the trannies hacking on pc
>doesn't know what dvd and bluerays are
pc fats don't even know what a physical release is, how would they know about a bluray drive?

buying an xsnoytendo is cheaper than buying a graphics card

>console fags seething that PC can do more than their toys

Attached: 1648061134728.jpg (844x962, 170.18K)

>moving goal posts
Show me 1 console that can do multiseat gaming.

>>pc
>a lot of shit to tinker with before you start gaming
>>consoles
>just pop a game and play
Admittedly the 7th generation is the last generation of consoles I played. I'm going through the PS2 and 3ds library currently.

>console fags seething that PC can do more than their toys
>hire an employee that can do anything but is really bad at the tasks you need them for
you're too autistic for a normal conversation
