I use Rivers of Blood simply because of how much the rest of the player base hates katanas and makes fun of katana users. Katanas will always be cool and I am going to continue to use the edgiest katana I can find for my invasions and teabag my victims just to be sure my point is made.

I beat the game with 65 Strength, and Ruins Greatsword, with Lionels Armour.

I used Blood Great Stars +25 when I needed a Strike and Bleed Weapon, for Malenia.

That's a lot of endurance.

I was using hoarfrost when it got nerfed straight down the shitter so with that experience under my belt it's difficult not to believe that what you say is true. But today, it's still powerful, and today I still have a nice stack of festering fingers to burn.

Katanas can be cool, just the weapon arts for rob and mv need to be brought to the same level as other weapon arts. Sorcerers are literally better of spamming moon veil at you rather than casting spells and corpse piler funnels you into just shield poking the fag to death with a rapier or spear and a decent shield, or otherwise encouraging more people to abuse bloodhound step.They’re just tedious to see at this point and are making pvp super stale

I made what I call a riot mage, high endurance vigour mind my int is in the high sixties and my strength is enough to use a shield as well as full heavy armor. I have the ice glintstone ,star shower, comet azure rocksling and the greatbow that shoots four arrows at once.

I did duel wielding great axes and only added bleed for the melania fight as my last of many experiments I did to beat her

It's really fun - just hiding in bushes, blowing up barrels, and farting on people before you hopefully parry and one shot whoever is left

>High HP Greatstars + Prayerful Strike. Self healing tank.
>High DEX Swordspear + thunderbolt. Lightning lancer.
>High INT Staff of Loss + Night Comet and Bloodhound Step. Pure magic without comet azur.

Demon Souls Hoplite/Phalanx Build.
Old Spear, Kite Shield, Silver Tear Mask and Plate Mail. Also dagger and Boggart ball weapon fist thing.
Use arcane purely for occult infusions and spectral lance ash of war for the javelin throw the enemies do in game.
No bleed or poison, just pure damage.
Throw in lifesteal fist and assasin's gambit to cash in on the arcane.

Katanas are very cool but I dislike the clashing aesthetic. Western style worlds should remain western and eastern style worlds should remain eastern. I dislike a faggot going around with a katana in medieval Europe the same way I would dislike a full plate knight going around in medieval japan
