Reminder Nintendo, in an early example of mandating the Mario series. Used regular green bowser in the SMAS version of 2/Lost Levels for “fake bowser” instead of the blue bowser like the original game. However there is a SMAS sprite of blue bowser which went unused meaning he plan planned to appear.

The physics in All Stars are different to the original but if you've never played the original it won't bother you both are fine it's just a matter of preference

Like I said it's subjective and up to preference if you prefer the original with it's physics and jank hitboxes then play it but if you've played neither All Stars is fine and looks better visually
