How often does the power go out for you guys?
For me it's at least once a month for like two minutes at a time. Not greatly inconvenient, but it's harsh on the electronics and appliances.

What country are you in? I'm in the USA and the power will go out maybe once every 3-5 years for a few minutes if a bad storm comes through.

I used to live in an apartment (yes in the US) where the grid around it was such shit the power would knock off or flicker pretty much any time the wind was over 20, it was a fucking embarrassment.
Now I live less than a mile from the substation so my power rarely goes out and if it does they're on it like hot cakes

Maybe once or twice a year here in Alberta. Most of the time the power goes out due to snow/ice storms or an odd accident where someone blows up a transformer.

There's a pretty big reason why Americans have lots of power outages. Wish I could find the article but from what I remember reading, its because our grids are so old that they haven't been replaced since they were first put in and our electronics today require power 24/7. We're long past the point of "just unplug your stuff" as a ton of our electronics need to be left on or plugged in 24/7. Because of this we waste like several hundred billion(I think) USD a year just to constantly repairing our grids and the cost to replace them would be in the trillions.

The article I read also mentions that its going to get worse too(bitcoin minors for example). The US is the 1 country that absolutely needs to go solar but my god, the shear mention of alt energy in this country will causes people seeth so much. I'm not even joking. Actually its anything that cause people to move away from coal and oil that makes people here turn red with rage.
