If your set up is bad the mimic will use it even worse than you do. So much time wasted standing there or eating food or casting spells that don't really interact with whats going on.
You have to pare your loadout on the dpad to nothingness or he'll waste time.

I recommend summoning your mimic with defense perfumes, they can use them freely and if your in the mist it applies to you too

It's a shame the powerstanced moveset is so dogshit for straight swords.

I only found out about how good perfumes were at the tail end of my 1st run, when I found the second perfumer's area. I only got to 6 bottles but that felt like alot.
I only used the bubble one but it was nuts. I never used it with a mimic but I did use it when I was a summon on the endgame bosses (not melania). I could farm the mats so I had virtually infinite. I helped so many casuals to victory spamming those bubbles while fighting.

I'm abusing them hard this run as a 2kat dexfag hyper casual for fun and yeah, the mimic does work.
