It was lackluster at first yeah, it nearly went down the Fate CCC route, but they kept updating it and pulling in wales to keep the game afloat, but now days it doesn't seem too new player friendly though it requires some dedication to get the characters you want.Also, titoria is for paizuri.

that's true, even something like getting welfares past their reruns is locked behind mana prisms which can only be obtain by burning high rarity stuff, and you need to buy each copy too (worst of all is that not every welfare is available at the moment so there's still no way to get great servants like Kintoki or Kuro).
The good thing at least is that newbies can breeze through most of part 1 with current meta supports who destroy anything difficult from that period.

Honestly the way I see it is to just buy a starter account in FGO and start from there. It'll save you some weeks in my opinion.

It was a real perfect storm of marketing and it needed it cause F/GO is a really, really bad "game".

Nasu expected the project to flop and didn't really put in a great deal of effort because he was assured gacha players could not possibly stand to read long scenes of text.
It wasn't until about four months in after the release of London that he finally got his head in the game, realized that his fans were clamoring for MORE STORY, and actually began writing and telling his friends to make the story thicker.
The difference in writing quality between the first four singularities up to the final scene of London is ridiculous, really. Final scene of London is when F/GO really "starts".

Yeah, so? Titoria can be summoned into any timeline once she's on the throne of heroes. Shirou's timeline involves him having Avalon, so if Rin had happened to summon Redman as Saber, he would get Artoria as Lancer and still have Avalon be turbocharged by her presence.

No, they are not. Artoria Lancer is not Artoria who took up Rhongomyniad to survive the injuries from Mordred, becoming a goddess.
Artoria Lancer is just an alternate Artoria, who used Rhongomyniad as her preferred weapon instead of Excalibur. As a result it steadily broke the curse of Caliburn and infected her with a bit of its divinity, but not a whole lot of it. She lived and died normally apart from that.
Artoria Lancer is almost perfectly equivalent to Artoria Saber, with mostly cosmetic differences.
