eden of the east was an alright anime, it had some really entertaining hooks but sort of piddled toward the middle of the season. The ending was fantastic and I'm glad I never saw the movies.

>full release in 2255
Haha get it? they made a funnee joke because they know their passion project will never be released in a completed format and people will lose interest long before they get even close.

Touch grass

>I'm retarded and eat my own shit daily
Strange thing to post in a thread like this. But go for it, I guess.

Its mind blowing to witness how people continuously and constantly dont understand what made FPS from the 90s early 2000s good. From mechanics to art-style, they just dont get it. Its a modern shooter that tries to awkwardly wear the skin of a retro FPS.

>their passion project will never be released in a completed format and people will lose interest long before they get even close.
Yes.

Damn, it's a shame they don't all consult you, the final arbiter of video game design.

I wish they hadn't gone to a 3D engine. seems pointless and its making it take forever to come out
>people bitching in recent updates about the russian flag for russian recruits
>though it really should be the USSR flag if its during cold war times anyways

On imgur put NqJg539 in the url

this one and katana's zero update, both are never coming out.

Sea of Stars looks really good.
>Messenger devs
>Good sprite based art style that isn't just pixel shit
>Chrono Trigger gameplay with some platforming to make transversal of the map interesting
I kind of wish the girl looked a little cuter.

What's wrong with them? Messenger I thought was fun platformer. The devs pozzed or crazy or something?

Did we check the same game user? The one in the OP is FPS

Looks more like Prodeus, which also looks really good but has been stuck in early access for awhile and I don't do early access.

None. I came to the understanding that every non japanese indie game is garbage

Is it alive? Looks fucking dead.

The mission design in the Nextfest demo was pretty basic and easy, but customizing and upgrading units was very fun and the unit sprites and animations are very good. The writing is decent. Looks like a worthwhile SRPG overall.

>the last update said " no december update - instead new demo will replace it "and there was never a demo. and now its 4 months after that - safe to say the game is nestled in some sort of dev hell
Fuck, I thought they were doing well judging by that demo. It's always easier to add more of the same when the core is done.

>WHEN!?
Never.
It's vapourware that was supposed to be done by the end of 2020, was pushed to the end of 2021 and it is STILL nowhere near done 1/3rd through 2022 while the faggot fin is shitposting on his discord instead of working on the game.
That demo you played is the only playable version of Termina you'll ever experience.

Any day now...

waiting for Selaco too.
Anything similar I can play to make it to release?

fuck off you faggot weeb virgin, go suck some more nip cock

It's just a GZDoom game, there's a bunch like them. Go check the /vr/ doom thread.

I assume you have played FEAR. I don't know if it has worthwhile player content.

I look forward to writing a new cuckpasta when this is released.

I did play F.E.A.R, man the multiplayer was something else

This one.

if only the devs actually worked on the game instead of a shitty sandbox mode and a level editor which barely anyone is gonna use anyways
the game is supposed to release this year but there's no way that's going to happen.

Who is Chucklefish?

NTA but the Messenger just felt really bland. It wasn't a bad game or anything, and I did enjoy the story and shopkeeper stuff, but I guess I was expecting more Ninja Gaiden style gameplay but it just felt like generic platforming. I think the bosses were ok though.

Publisher that has a bad rep for screwing over devs. Don't know much more than that though

looks like a way less fun hotline miami, blatantly taking the animal mask stuff.

looks like a bad fire emblem clone

The Messanger wasn't ground breaking, but I think it showed a lot of competence as indie devs in gameplay, visuals, and sound which is why I brought it up. Really I've been wanting Square to do a proper spiritual sequel to CT for a long, long time now and the closest they have delivered was I am Setsuna which was purely mediocre (yes Chrono Cross is a direct sequel to CT, I liked it enough, but it doesn't hit the same notes as CT did and feels very different). Sea of Stars seems to be have much more effort than I am Setsuna, plus it has music from Mitsuda. Also they aren't doing the whole early access, which is always a big turn off for me for indie games when they go EA and never release even after 3 years. It should be out by holidays of this year.

S-shut up! It's just in the QA polishing phase!

>what made FPS from the 90s early 2000s good

A lot of the other games I'm "looking forward to" right now have actually released already I just have to scrounge together the cash to actually buy them.

The Last Faith and Bushiden.

Also looking forward to when Dread Templar leaves early access.

Try the Trepang 2 demo.

The QA polishing phase has been going on for one and a half year by now.

For me it's Compound Fracture.

Same, for me it's also Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum. IIRC it's being made by an /ourguy/ too.
Outside of that, Floppy Knights, because I play the shit out of Dicey Dungeons and that game looks like it's going to be as addictive as DD.

>no one (ie me) will use a level editor, dont work on it waahhhh
Are you out of your fucking mind?

most of the nu-boomershooters that have level editors barely any have custom content made for them, this game probably wont change the trend
with the exception of prodeus but that was built for it from the ground up

I dont care, having it exist at all means that people who are creative can actually play around with it. And even lazy uncreative fuckers could port levels in from other games.
Better to have the tool than to not.

You're perception of time is just distorted by the dungeons, 2 more weeks bro.
