No one mentioned Epic. At all your fat fucking faggot. I like to organize my games on Steam and I also enjoy not using Windows. Running Anno on Linux is a fuck ton easier with Steam since they integrate proton into it, and I also like how steam allows me to organize my game collections and manage my games.
Luckily, this game is easy as fuck to pirate and run without Ubisoft's retarded launcher. I'd happily buy all Anno games if it wasn't for Ubishit's piss poor management.

it was cracked but being a game with denuvo that milks the players through DLCs the updates are constant, my advice is to just buy it as cheap as possible and then pirate the expansions

Got around 260 hours in this game with 83% completion (never beat it). I think Ubisoft has their moments of occasionally making really great games like Rayman Legends/Origins, but this game feels like something that sat in a time capsule from when PC games had passion put into them and the team decided to spruce up the graphics and mechanics (slightly) then tacked on a lot of dlc/expansions. It kind of blows my mind that a bigger publisher could even put something out like this. I hope bigger publishers have taken notice to this game's success because outside of indie games, "PC gaming" is pretty much non-existent
