It's nuts how long Skyrim's modding scene has survived for. Memes aside, the re-re-re-re-rereleases of it are probably a big part of what's keeping it alive.

I'm actually working on a Halted Stream Camp overhaul myself atm. It's taking me a while since it's an attempt at matching stuff like Windstad mine; but even now I can still look forward to the comments from people downloading and enjoying the mod when I eventually complete it.

Better post it here too. Overhauls of "dungeons" are always fun

rather TES modding is alive no matter what, skyrim is still getting mods mostly because it's still the newest TES game
Morrowind has some ongoing big projects where all boomers are. Sometimes some lonely soul makes oblivion mod

yeah, it's really amazing honestly. the rereleases are definitely impactful but i honestly think part of it is just the legacy the game has so far, i mean, the amount of mods for it is insane. Minecraft is still super popular, but the modding scene is nowhere near as diverse as it used to be, and it's probably due to the amount of differing versions and updates and such.

also what the other user said, TES just has a huge modding community - people are still making new morrowind mods daily, lmao.

i've been thinking of trying to get into modding as well, since i do have some technical background. i'm not good with modeling, but i think there could be a decent number of scripts/tools to help modding become even easier than it already is currently
