36 here. Currently, I'm torturing myself with elden ring and it's not a fun or good experience. It's not a particularly good game But when it's done, I'm going back to my backlog, with blasphemous, world war z, kingdom two crowns and amid evil. Wish I had the patience for strategy games.
32, Factorio Seablock but I've been opening and closing it for a week without doing anything.
Just put in 10 hours on Satisfactory but can't make myself commit because it's early access. I hate early access but I'm so bored I try anyways.
32. Playing through Fable 2 for the first time in like 12 years

I've played ff7 way back then, and I can't imagine picking it up today. It would give me a full blown depression. Why do this to yourself?
Keeps me from drinking myself to death between acid trips. Plus the music is top notch.

I've just finished Mario + Rabbids and it was just fine.
this thread just tells me that I'm never gonna be able to get off this ride
If you enjoy it, why not ride forever?
Your only chance is to find a different image board that sticks.
38, years young, just 100%ed ER this weekend (3 playthroughs, 260 hours) and not sure what I'm playing next. Maybe I'll try a new Mount and Blade Warband mod, maybe I'll take a little break from games to read some novels. Honestly at this point in my life I've played enough great games that if I never played another vidya I'd be ok with that.

Had a big nostalgia flash recently and for the first time in a decade, wanted to play Pokémon.
Tried SS and a mystery dungeon game, but I think I completely outgrew pokemon and there's no going back as I not felt either.
Weird given how obsessed I was with pokemon as a kid. Or maybe it's just that I'm rather not feeling emulation.
Been here since 09.
No you won't.
I'm starting to feel the same.
At this point I have so many great games I've played, I could stop buying games today and have enough great games to replay to last me a lifetime.

It's so good. The sequel was supposed to come out a while ago but they've been very quiet about it.
It is, and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Same but didn't work for me lately.
Which sucks big time. It might be over for me.
Metroid Dread is great. Gave me a lot of anxiety, but a lot of fun too. Story is boring as fuck
Im having similarly bad time with elden ring that I had with blasphemous... Im just glad its over
Also got amid evil in my backlog and looking forwards to it

Have you tried emulation? I had a lot of fun. But it is different. I used to be able to pick up any pokemon game and get right into it. But now it's like i have to work to play games. I don't like having to work to play games. But I also haven't fully accepted that I don't play games any more. Sometimes I catch myself reading books or watching documentaries and thinking, "What happened to me?". I guess I'm just getting older. Emulation was fun for a bit though. I got all the way to the SS Anne before putting it down.
Use the blasphemous blade in elden ring
this is the old gamers thread

Trying to play Baba is You but I'm often too exhausted to put in an honest effort
Bought the Halo games this weekend and started with Halo Wars but its kinda shit
I wish I had a fox grandma-wife
Yea and I think emulation might be the issue. Doesn't really scratch that nostalgia itch playing on my phone.
Happy birthday to future you.
HELLO GAMES FISHERMAN!
I'm 36 and still playing Elden Ring daily. The first playthrough has lasted me over a month now. Can't remember the last time a game I play daily lasted me this long, it's brilliant.
I've also been getting heavily into emulation on my work laptop. Been playing a lot of 64, Dreamcast and PS1 games, some out of nostalgia, some that I missed back in the day.
And XCom 2, it might be one of my favourite games actually. It's seriously good.

pathfinder kingmaker

what are you playing twewy on?
>>Surviving Mars
is this any good
You will be there soon
Oh yeah, play on a PC dude, fullscreen, in the dark. phones are shit
To elaborate.
Eldenring is great, hardly comparable to the Souls games though, feels not nearly as challenging or dangerous, am at 120hrs or something.
Never played Max Payne 3 back in the day, but I build a huge PS3 collection a few years ago when prices were lowest, so I go back occasionally and play a classic from my collection that I missed.
I go back to old sim games every now and then, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, Sim City 4, Anno, Civ, etc.
Wreckfest is a nice and fun destruction derby kinda game and I like arcade sims, Flat out 2 is probably my favorite racing game of all time.

>Battle Brothers
