It's a fine game and all, but lacks a lot of the stuff that made the OG Lego Star Wars good. Though it does have pretty nice gameplay and graphics, and the visual gags/humor is still pretty well done.
Also they missed a huge opportunity to add in characters and references to all other SW media, though that's due in part to Disney wanting to flaunt their own stuff over everything else.

When it comes to hypthetical SW vidya, i would gladly sell a kidney for a Star Wars adventure game set within the Legends conitnuity with a heavy Noire thematic featuring an average joe gumshoe detective that has no qualms in getting himself involved in some hero journey or strugless with the force and instead would focus on much more seedier aspects of the SW mythos relating to criminal syndicates and other neferious elements.

I'm a diehard swtor fan but it's really obvious that it's about to be shut down soon or best stops getting updates but continues to run. The newest big proud10th anniversary expansion was an utter embarassment, like I would be legit embarassed if I would have worked on it. 2 hours of new story content that were completely meaningless and a new raid but it's still in development. That's it.

We got the two star war battlefront remakes that barely added stuff and even waterdown it to play like some cod game. We got lego star wars but really I wouldn't place them in the same group and lastly we got swtor. Only 4 games that have been release since 2010s till now.
