FFXIV has officially died. Ever content creator and player out there now knows that XIV was just a fad from summer last year...WOW was never bad and is still way better than XIV. Let's look at the hard facts...

The reveal of Hydaelyn and Zodiark as primals was a disappointment to me, even if it did work wonderfully for the story they told. I think fantasy settings are much more fun with a pantheon and having the Gods both not be real and be killed ruins a huge amount of flavour. All the patron dieties, all the various lore for all the city states, etc etc. I really hope this is just some friendly trial or something.
