FFXIV has officially died. Ever content creator and player out there now knows that XIV was just a fad from summer last year...WOW was never bad and is still way better than XIV. Let's look at the hard facts...
>bad zones
>insane monetary practices (expensive dlc and expansions)
>generic story meant to appeal to all
>very bad netcode
Even all the players have given up...FFXIV has very low player numbers. Square has been lying: they say 25 million. But it's really close to...not even one million.
But let's not forget
>Asmongold has all but given up, even going back to WOW RIGHT NOW, says he "maybe" will play xiv again but it wont happen because game is not fun
>RichW flat out said his reaction to WOW was overblown and apologized, game isnt bad in the slightest. Misses WOW (and not XIV btw)
>Bellular never liked XIV...nuff said
>Preach also thinks WOW is way moreinteresting. XIV is just VN.
9.2 has been one of the best patches ever released for WOW. And this is during "WOW's lowest point"
Somehow one patch ALONE is better than all of XIV's expansions...I don't mean to kick someone while theyre down but this puts things in perspective...doesn't it
Without a doubt, XIV will never live up to WOW and it makes me genuinely angry that people still try to think XIV is remotely better than WOW.
The writing is on tjhe wall...WOW is an icon and will forever remain as part of history
