After finishing Elden Ring, I decided to replay Dark Souls III, as a palate cleanser, and oh damn! I couldn't believe what I saw!

All games prior to ER are pisseasy. Hell, ER is as well, but if you go solo melee only it at least provides a modicum of challenge.
i was a former I guess you could call it "ds3 detractor", it was my least played FROM game, but likewise, after ER I went back and played it and now I kinda feel like i wasn't being fair to it. there's no double crucible knights or riding around for 10 minutes in liurnia picking up arteria leafs, so even if its nowhere close to sekiro ds1 and bb for me, i have a newfound appreciation.

Ultra greatswords are all viable vs ds3 bosses, even fastest ones like gael, dancer, friede and in ER it feels like you're handicapping yourself by using them and playing them in a normal way unless you power stance and abuse jump attack
