Every time I come across a thread of people spitballing ideas for cool narrative moments such as "the villain of X was actually the hero of Y", I tend to find that most of the good ideas have already been done in Undertale and Deltarune, and these saps aren't even aware of it.

yea it wasn't really the "same" game or rather not as expansive thanks to all the lies they told during marketing (that realistically were actually planned or being developed but had to be cut because of older gen consoles and their dev team flopping over tremendously) definitely alright on its own but realistically nothing quite special anywhere except the art and city design. I feel like it'll take forever for another high budget cyberpunk/any sort of future aesthetic game to come out thanks to a lot of those main stream titles sinking or outright failing.

ME3 had some incredible high points better than other games in the series. The main issue was the lackluster ending which seems pretty difficult to tie in three games worth of choices to make impactful enough. And most of that issue came from Casey Hudson promising that the endings would be just as expansive as the rest of the game, and also the fact that they had the extended ending cut available in the game files day 1 and ended up having to release it for free when everyone caught on to their bullshit. Had the game launched with the extended cut stuff maybe it wouldn't have been remembered more for the sour ending, but the game still serves a special place in my mind despite the fact I only played it once to completion compared to the 100s of hours I spent on the previous two.

It's closer to overrated. Nobody hates it, it's just an okay game.

I feel people dislike it for the correct reasons (dumb story, the Mhigger half of the game is mostly wasted) but they forget that it also had some of the game's best fight designs.

I genuinely believe that the HD GTA universe (4, CTW, 5) was supposed to be a more serious thing than the 3D universe (3, VC, SA, stories) because both 4 and Chinatown wars, while they do have comedic moments, are nowhere near as silly as the 3D games. Then when people hated that they decided to give up on 5. Now 5 is a success and they just don't give a shit about anything anymore.
