Daily CDPR is making Bloodlines 2 Thread

FACTS
>Hiring for multiple positions on an unannounced project in Unreal Engine separate to Cyberpunk and The Witcher.
>Job listings are for 3D Head Modellers and animators. VTMB is renowned for having top of the line facial animations to this day.
>CDPR has entered into a multi-year partnership with Epic Games to work on Unreal Engine only for future titles.
>Devs have continually expressed how much they love VTMB in recent years and how it was a big inspiration for CP2077.
>Project was taken over by a “reputable and very talented developer who has shipped multiple successful games.”
>RED 2.0 - “We intend to continue growing organically, while locking in partnerships with proven external partners.”
>RED 2.0 - “starting in 2022 - to work on multiple AAA games and expansions in parallel.”
>CDPR is 100% working on Cyberpunk Expansions, “The Witcher Saga” and another unannounced AAA game.
>Last month the CEO of Paradox confirmed the game is still in development.
>CDPR investor call on April 14th.
SPECULATION
>Multiple rumours about CDPR taking over with Paradox giving them first bid on the WoD IP if the game sells well.
>Rumours that CDPR was in the bidding war for WoD IP but Paradox out bid them.
>It's the kind of IP CDPR would acquire or make a game in (edgy and "mature")
>The reason for no dev announcement is them waiting for the cyberpunk launch fiasco to blow over
>The Witcher Saga has been announced and received well online, they could announce bloodlines 2 at summer gamefest.
>Pawel Sasko could be heading up the team (this is a personal theory as he gushes about VTMB constantly).
REASONS AGAINST OTHER POTENTIAL DEVS
>TheChineseRoom is hiring for RPG experience but for an action-adventure game.
>Harebrained Schemes hiring for Unity project and Nvidia leak says they are making an FPS.
>InXile working on steampunk FPS-RPG before VTMB 2 was cancelled.
>Larians full attention on Baldur’s Gate 3 all other projects on hold.

Yes, but I'm right.

They're working on:

The Witcher 4
Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion
Cyberpunk 2077 Mulitplayer game
Another Gwent RPG

They're not making Bloodlines 2.

What ever happened to the TW3 next-gen upgrade?

>Cyberpunk 2077 Mulitplayer game
Multiplayer CP2077 isn't even confirmed in development. The last official word was it was cancelled fully. It may be in the works but it doesn't change what they have said about multiple AAA projects and expansions.

See
>RED 2.0 - “We intend to continue growing organically, while locking in partnerships with proven external partners.”
>RED 2.0 - “starting in 2022 - to work on multiple AAA games and expansions in parallel.”

Supposed to come out this year but there was a rumor that it was being developed by a Russian team, so it might be delayed.

It's due for Q2 2022 which is April, May, June.

The developer of the next gen upgrade is Saber Interactive an american company. It was already delayed once, could be delayed again but unlikely.

That would be some next level virtue signaling.

It's also factuallyincorrect

time will tell

About the delay, yes but the developer has already been announced as Saber Interactive. It's not Russians.

Funny to think if this was 2015-6 i would've gotten a boner through the roof about CDPR developing a Bloodlines sequel

I dunno, sounds pretty Russian to me.

>It's virtue signaling to not work on a project with a company you can't make financial transactions with
God damn you /pol/tards can't even muster the most basic common fucking logic

I think Gothic night city would still be cool and LESS pozzed with Cara Ellison on it.

Attached: Cara.png (189x365, 128.08K)

meant to say OFF it, just look at her

>Saber Interactive Inc. is an American video game developer founded in 2001 with headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
>The company employs over 1350 people.
holy shit they have more employees than CDPR themselves, wtf.

Attached: ok.png (773x777, 417.88K)

Not him but I dubt that they're working with a russian studio at all. And yes, Saber Interactive is studio from USA.

They wouldn't be given they have openly been supporting Ukraine.

>you can't make financial transactions with
Except you can, just not as easily. Never been to /pol/ btw, it seems like they're living your head rent-free.

>>The company employs over 1350 people.
>still had to delay a port of a complete game
lol lmao

>I'm mad because user said somethig bad against my mother russia

It's not like all 1350 are working on Witcher 3 next gen though. Saber do jobs everywhere, its probably a medium sized team of a couple hundred people. It is still embarrassing though, I guess it depends on what they are adding.

"Cyberpunk 2077's upgade is now targeting a release date within Q1 2022 (January-March), with The Witcher 3 to follow suit in Q2 (April-June)."

>Bloodlines 2 thread
>No Rudi posted yet
You disappoint me, Yea Forums. Anyways this piece of shit is never coming out and thank goodness because if they turned Thinbloods into fags and Mexicans who knows what else they'd ruin.

yeah Saber does like 6 projects at a time. They completely remade Crysis 2 with ray tracing, ported Witcher 3 to Switch, ported entire Crysis Remastered Trilogy to consoles, are working on a KC:D port to Switch, are working on Witcher 3 RTX, are also working on Warhammer 40k Space Marine II. That's just 2021 and 2022.

They delivered on the next-gen timeframe for CP2077 so I see no reason Witcher 3 next-gen will miss.

Any day now then, nice.

Though Crysis remake on PC was nothing but a sham; they added ray tracking but fucked other thinks like the dynamic grass.

oh damn they did the witcher 3 switch port? that shit was impressive, maybe the next gen patch will actually be good.

pozzed company hiring quotas = disastrous product

>maybe the next gen patch will actually be good.
a man can dream

>No Rudi posted yet
Why didn't you post it then.
>Anyways this piece of shit is never coming out
I think it's undeniable its coming out, they had a perfect opportunity to cancel it when the dev changed hands. The fact they openly said it changed dev and continue to say its in development means it is.

Why the fuck did they change Yen so much? I kinda like the new design more in some ways but did they ever give a reason for completely changing her design.

Female hires are just all community managers and shit like concept art. The meat of the team and actual coders I guarantee are all men, women don't like to actually work.

Crysis 1 remake was done in-house and was a total botched job. It was based off of the xbox 360 console version and then they added svogi to it and caked on optional ray traced reflections.
Crysis 2 remake was a total gutting and rewiring of the entire graphics system to be based around Ray traced shading and lighting. Every texture in the game was remade from the ground up and the lighting model updated to account for ray tracing. Crysis 2 was done by Saber interactive.
Crysis 3 remake was just a minor update to the game to allow for some minor ray tracing but overall not much was done, at least not even close to how much work was done for Crysis 2.
Yeah I expect them to know the engine inside and out. I'm hoping for the best.

Yes, they ported it to Switch. But I wouldn't recommend it, even less in a docked mode.

Attached: witcher44.png (740x444, 506.3K)

i forgot bloodlines 2 was happening
hasn't it been more than 4 years since they started working on it?
not that i expect it to be good

The fact they even managed it is impressive regardless of how it looks.

It changed developers in Feb 2021 with said developer scrapping everything except models, art and music and restarting from there. Dev still hasn't been announced and It really is a mystery who is making it, someone in one of these threads a few days ago said its an open secret in journalist circles that CDPR took over, others are convinced its devs like Chineseroom or Harebrained Schemes.

If you want to know why the team fell apart

Attached: Mirsoa Firing 1.png (1871x219, 66.66K)

Yes, yes, yes... The difference between the original in consoles and the new is big but on PC... it isn't.
Try to play Crysis 2 and the remake without ray tracking. It looks kinda darkish, in some scenes way to bright and the new textures are nothing but a joke.

If you want to see the diferences look at this: youtube.com/watch?v=CdK5W5dUszs

Attached: a.jpg (1518x806, 67.15K)

things like these makes me understand my mother company with the policy of "no family members"

>the remake without ray tracking
>play the remake without the feature it was specifically built around
>then complain it doesnt look good
idk man, seems kinda retarded

>worse textures but still is better because RT
RT is still undeveloped so playing with that enabled with an inferior or older card than 3070 would eat almost half ot the fps, not worth (unless you play on consoles).
By the way, did you saw the RT in that game? Isn't as impressive as you think. I would put it at Metro Redux EE level.
I do't deny that studios will improve in the future, but we're still not there yet.

>I would put it at Metro Redux EE level.
So the best ray tracing in gaming? You aren't helping your case here.

Source: my dad works at nintendo

>Metro REdux EE best ray tracking
Lol no, it's mediocre. Even Ghostwire: Tokyo has a better implementation that this game.

They already gave up on multiplayer.

>borderline real life looking is bad
Your brain is broken

Attached: metro-exodus-enhanced-edition-6.jpg (1327x1030, 231.98K)

yeah that user already said what I was going to say. Crysis 2 Remastered textures were built specifically around Ray Tracing and Metro EE is the best RT in gaming right now. So you're a retard.

>Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion
>Cyberpunk 2077 Mulitplayer game
LMAO

>The Witcher 4
Yes
>Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion
Yes
>Cyberpunk 2077 Mulitplayer game
Cancelled
>Another Gwent RPG
Not after the flop of thronebreaker

They are making another unannounced AAA game, says so on their job listings. You are way off.

>making the room brighter and the outside oversatureted with light
Yes, look like shit
Still doesn't change that they rushed it and now the textures look way worse than the original one. Google it to see how many did complain about this shit.

>Another Gwent RPG
>Not after the flop of thronebreaker
Exactly, they are still a business. They won't go "hmm this game we made absolutely bombed and was our worst performing title to date. LETS MAKE ANOTHER!!!"

>making the room brighter and the outside oversatureted with light
So how real life looks? You need to go outside user.

Weren’t the job listings updated. I can’t see any unannounced projects anymore. They’re now looking for head modellers for the witcher series.

Honestly though, it wouldn’t surprise me if true.
>Head modellers if it is for an unannounced project focusing on realistic facial animation
>Recently announce they’re using Unreal Engine
>Bloodlines 2 used Unreal Engine
>During Cyberpunk’s development Pawel and Tomas harp on about how they took inspiration from Bloodlines 1
>Pawel, founders and other devs are known to be big fans of Bloodlines
>CDPR like to take up established IP’s with an RPG focus. Despite what their end products might look like in the end.

From the shadow in the door looks like the sun is coming from the left side so the darker room seem more natural in the right left pic. The only issue from the no-rtx image would be that the character looks like a black blob.

Oh shit, yeah they did remove them. They saw my thread yesterday and know I'm on to them.
>1 v schizo exposes their entire secret operation
I've got BADOWSKI shittin himself

>Hiring for multiple positions on an unannounced project in Unreal Engine separate to Cyberpunk and The Witcher.

Where?
en.cdprojektred.com/jobs/

They also already started working on the next Cyberpunk. It's likely in the concept stage though.
OP's theory does seem likely. CDPR's top guys are very much into tabletop games. And CDPR expanded a lot over the past few years to the point where they can work on multiple projects at once. Workforce is cheap in Poland after all.

It was there yesterday, has since been removed.

>They know I’m on to them
One of the listings was for a Cyberpunk project and the other was for unannounced. This was showcased yesterday and the thread went that the first was clearly a mistake and that the second is clearly not a mistake.
Now they’ve both been removed and the only one is for The Witcher series. Is it possible that maybe you’re just schizo’s and the listing was edited for The Witcher because it’s still close since that project was announced and they’re still updating their listings.

If it was for an unannounced project they’d keep it up as they need to fill the position.

>RED 2.0 - “starting in 2022 - to work on multiple AAA games and expansions in parallel.”

>hire more personal cock maids for Badowski
>"See guys, we are a diverse company!"

>And CDPR expanded a lot over the past few years
user, I have to remind you that most of the staff that worked in the Witcher games left the company and some were fired?

Oh boy, SJW boogaloo 2 but this time instead of turning oppressive futuristic noir into california but with suplexing cars we will turn dark gothic fantasy into california with suplexing cars

>user, I have to remind you that most of the staff that worked in the Witcher games left the company and some were fired?
What does this have to do with them expanding? They are bigger than ever.

>It's The Chinese Room
>It's Harebrained Schemes
>It's inXile
>It's CDPR
WE ARE NOW HERE
>They saw my thread yesterday and know I'm on to them.
Don't do this user, don't become Caramel...

Attached: shazamfuckya.jpg (1280x720, 135.29K)

Yes but this is my most compelling case to date. I believe it is CDPR.
>Don't do this user, don't become Caramel...
Can I have my own cool schizo name people call me?

It means that they don't have a lot of staff. Not long ago they were annoucing viw TW that they're hiring. If you sum to this that they had to send W3 ramake to another studio you should see from where I'm coming; they grow as a company but still doesn't have enough staff.

They have plenty of staff, their current strategy for 2022 is multiple AAA projects and expansions at once. They are still hiring. W3 remake going to the same studio that did the switch port is just so they don't waste resources in house. The company is bigger than ever. Talent wise, maybe not but workforce, yes.
