Hit his leg till it breaks, then hit his leg again but now use torrent to get away from his fire attacks, the repeat.

Beat him second try. Only failed first try because I accidentaly summoned Alexander because I mash use on every glowy thing and couldn't use my horse

The only main story / shardbearer fight where I didn't summon or use cheese was against Radagon, because I wanted the mimic to be at full health for the Elden Beast. Same reason I only used certain summons until the second half of certain fights.

Funnily enough I found Dragon's Dogma extremely boring, to the point where I only finished it once without touching the DLC area and never touched the game again.

He is seriously one of the easier bosses in the game, come on. Use fire resistance, stick to his leg and whack it, only mount up to close distance.

Stay under his legs to attack, then use your horse to run. Run back with horse, jump off, fuck him up on foot, repeat. It's very easy, you just need to get better with your horse.

Wtf cheat engine? I just used mimic tear, its basically the same just without the hassle. The game literally gives you a free skip boss card.

The unfortunate reality is that fromsoft not only intended for us to use the horse, they also intended for us to use spirit summons

I know that it is gagworthy but unfortunately the game is supposed to be played on horseback and with spirit summons, and its time to accept that...

I played no summon, melee only and ran on horse for bosses about half the time for reference on my own playstyle

You can also get a shield with his face somewhere in Caelid. And the fire wagons are also modelled after him.

It’s felt impossible the first attempt but then the second one I started to figure him out. Then I think third or fourth attempt I beat him. Honestly once you figure out to hit his injured leg he really isn’t too bad. The second phase is a crazy spectacle to. Honestly I would say it’s a great “epic/set peice” style boss battle

I beat him yesterday but it was the hardest fight of the game so far
