I have managed to solo every single boss except for commander NIGGall and his two frost knight bitches, my mimic bro makes that fight a complete joke, but still feel bad about it.

I invade at low levels and poison hosts. I focus down their summons with cheese shit like frost, bleed, or carian if any of them are casting, then run away while slowly draining their heals. Once I know they’re out of tears I’ll leave them a bolus when they have almost no time to pick it up and use it. If they’re fast enough and cure themselves I sever out

I have 140+ hours on the game and haven't beaten it yet, because of my autistic obsession of doing everything that I can in an area before moving on. Also, I cheesed the gargoyle in front of the beast temple, and the bell bearing hunter on the plague lands. shit was just too tough.

I was able to deal with some of the ground pound AOE stuff, it's really his nonstop sprinting and swinging wildly and grabbing me that wreck me. I spend 30 seconds running away then try to quickly turn around to get one attack in and nope, I get grabbed.

The Elden Lord ending is actually less common than the age of stars ending on ps at least (9.5% vs 13.5%.)
It's people thinking with their dicks. Because ranni's ending takes a lot more effort.

I summomed +10 tiche for every double boss after the capital. Was sick of seeing them. I only played Dark souls before and it was cool when they did O&S one time, but having like 15 double boss battles using repeats is just ridiculous. Do they do this many double bosses in their other games?
I also summoned her for any repeats, like the second Astel. Honestly they seem like they ran out of time in the last few areas. They should have cut half the shitty repeat dungeons and actually made a finished game. Still love it but damn those repeats really drag it down.

I twink specifically in the magma dragon cave to prevent noobs from getting the Moonveil sword. I've killed over 500 people with a decent setup

I got two poison antspur rapiers on a level 30 +5 twink with the mushroom head and poison talisman where I swap to powerstanced blood curved swords, rot breath, frenzied burst and rock sling.

I just blundered my way into cheese strat ezmodo. On a whim I went dragon, since I ignored it in all other games, but breath is OP, not to mention bloodflies that just work with that build.
I would have ended up using moonveil had I made a int build because magic uchigatana was what I used in DaS. I would have failed to realize the potential for the moonveil however, because weapon arts use FP and I would have just assumed it was a waste over more pew pew.

Deep down in my heart of hearts I know that no matter how someone beat the game, they really did beat the game.

I accidentally cheesed both Valiant Gargoyles. Bashed my head in several times with that fight, refusing to summon until I was 2 hits away from winning. And then died.
On a random run the first gargoyle fell off and the second gargoyle followed suit shortly after.
Don't feel bad about it at all.

I cracked with my Knight build. I started a bleed dual wield who uses the mimic

I've now overtaken my Knight in progress in less than 1/4 of the playtime. I hate myself.

If the poison pool wasn't constantly active or was easier to see and didn't stun then it would still be okay. I think they wanted you to use your mimic since you literally just get it earlier.

I switched to bleed build to kill Melania. Twice. Magic wasn't doing enough dps the second run and bleed is just objectively good against her.

I used guides to complete the characters' questlines because my completionist autism kicked in instead of just starting a NG+ and doing things differently.

I think its people understanding that the normal elden lord ending is not a good end. the entire game is telling you Marika is trying to break the ring into unrecoverable states. She wants to end it just like Ranni does.

Elden Lord ending is the good ending. No, no mental gymnastics will make the dung eater the good guy; no, LE BURN EVERYTHING and abdicate your throne is not good either; nor is getting cucked by a necrophiliac so she can fuck more skeletons, and neither is getting made the bitch of an evil demigod just because she has the floppy witch hat.

Elden Lord = you did what you set out to do. You are the protagonist and you did it because you wanted to do it, and it seems to be the best for the world regardless. Any other ending and you are no better than Vyke.

It's probably because I already played Dark Souls 3 to death and ER is fundamentally more of the same and I just got bored. I'm glad I didn't drop it outright because there's some cool stuff at the end but exploring the late game areas as thoroughly as I did the earlier ones seemed like an insane proposition

I wasn't trying to bleed. Just went STR mode. I had other issues than trying to land a hit though so I'm not complaining about strength builds either. The biggest offender is the poison.

I'm shamelessly using Spirit Ashes and Summons because it's clear as day that Miyazaki intends for you to use them

I don't know why no one talks about that mini-stun you get on most enemies when using fire weapons as they flail after getting burned. It's almost cheating in pvp.
