day one buy, game last game was fun as hell since i played it couch co-op. im just a sucker for beat em ups in general, but this game had a really good ost, an artstyle i liked (in game, the portraits were hit and miss) and decent combat. my only gripe was the horrible voice acting, hopefully they learned there lesson and wont be hiring shitty e celebs this time

user, do some fucking research and don't believe all the outrage shit you read on Yea Forums. They didn't "change the ending," the original ending is still there. A new "slightly adjusted" bonus ending happens if you find all the statues. And it doesn't even change much. The girls are still crazy and delusional, but Kunio and Riki are more like "HEY SURE, WE'LL GO OUT, NO PROBLEM!" That's it.

River City is the catch-all for Kunio-Kun western games, because it's far and away the most high-profile entry. See: Calling it "GIRLS" feels like a publicity stunt for their already released and upcoming game, instead of just proper branding.
