>missed this entire zone
So this is the power of "open world"

They got ya. Now you gotta replay the game hehehe

How do you miss a giant crater in Mistwood and the huge area underneath it? Did you also skip Radahn?

You didn't beat the game.

That is Fortissax, a man, and Godwyn's friend who tried to save him from the Deathblight and the murderous rapist known as Fia.

>fortnitesex

what the fuck I don't remember this boss

No, Fortisaax is a male and there is nothing wrong with bromance.
Godwyn's wife is Miquella and you can't prove me wrong otherwise.

not him, but I missed the gray coffin behind a waterfall at the end of a giant field of gray rocks and mist

a friend told me about it though

>she
Fortissax was Godwyn's bro. His sister, Lanssaex, loved a human named Vyke.

never pleased me more, than to spew rotten breath on this cuck and just run around the arena as he slowly dies shitting out lighting attacks

Miquella was a siscon

>Both a lich and a dragon at the same time.
>Ends up being one of the easiest dragon bosses in From Soft history.

Why/How did Godwyn befriend a dragon?

>Why
Helped end the war
>How
He just did

That's a man

The grace points you at it

it's a dragon

You mean the grace that's also easy to miss because it's on the other side of that entire fucking room away from the entrance on some sand that it blends into at that distance? That Grace?

he is also a brocon for Godwyn, not as direct as Malenia.

>befriend a dragon?
he defeated the dragon and extended his hand to the dragon, which was obviously an anime and friendship fight.

Imagine her cloaca

it's balanced around you being able to fight it as one of the earliest bosses in the game

Yes, the grace that appears in every boss room after killing a boss. Yes, that grace.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to walk the streets without handlers

Godwyn is constantly praised as the most beloved, the most capable and the most reasonable of the gods. It seems everyone loved him and he earned that love with his actions. He not only played a part in defeating the dragons, he also befriended them and turned them into allies.
He was the perfect murder target for someone who wanted to destroy stability and start a war. I am wonder who would want that.

you have to beat radahn and gargoyles to fight fortissax

Attached: 2a2.png (548x474, 253.78K)

not him but because the crater appears much later than when I was done with mistwwood

radahn is really easy, the gargoyles are kind of tough but +15~ weap is usually fine

Kino boss theme youtu.be/es2cMuepHZY

yeah but you said "one of the earliest bosses in the game" i wouldnt call radahn or gargoyles "one of the earliest bosses in the game" and they come before lichdragon

No, his sister is.
>Lansseax was the sister of Fortissax. It is said that she took the from of a human to commune with the knights as a priestess of the ancient dragon cult.

you can do the bosses in that order, radahn, gargoyles, lichdragon, without fighting anything else

Was this really the entire point of the Deeproot Depths? Fia's quest and the Crucible Armor were like the only notable things and it's a fairly big zone.

>did my first run completely blind
>only things I completely missed were Placidusax and Boc
How do you people even play video games?

it also connects to the eternal cities and rot land

you need to get to Altus or beat two other demigods to unlock Radahn though

And IIRC in order to unlock it even then you must have done the whole black knifeprint shit which involves killing at least one other boss in northern liurnia

no you just advance ranni's quest to "looking for nokron", meet sellen, tell blaidd and then the festival starts

What black knifeprint? NTA, but I only beat Godrick and made it up to the plateau and I found the tourny when I went to Redmane.

I never tried to go back. Can you take the coffin back to the gargoyle's arena (not that you'd need to with fast travel). And I also didn't know it connected to Lake of Rot. I found the hidden door to the ant tree by the frenzied flame place, but I apparently missed the Lake of Rot transport.

there's another coffin randomly in deep root near the edge of a waterfall near that mausoleum? I forget where it takes you

Well I sure never went to fatlus before offing him. I don't think that's true.

Ainsel River Main, it's just another way to get to Astel, you can actually fight him without Ranni guiding you there

you probably either finished off Godrick and Rennala or progressed enough in Ranni's questline as pointed out.

Oh, right Rennala's one. Yeah. And I went there with Blaidd.

Didn't you notice the grace pointing at the coffin?

>Fortissex
That's the brother, user. The girl dragon is the one who used to fuck Vyke.

>A mermaid managed to defeated this dragon
I can't even

>I am wonder who would want that.
Don't bother, Ranni apologists can go fuck a knife

you just can't read bro. The only person Ranni wanted to kill was herself. Now, who else helped her by betraying Maliketh? Ranni never has motive to kill Godwyn, in fact she dies at the same moment he does.

>he didn't explore every single corner of the boss area
worthless. You can't even be called a human being.

I wonder what'd be worse, her plotting to kill him or her just accepting his death as collateral damage of her zany scheme

marika is a fucking fruitloop mate

What boss do you fight at the end of Deeproot if you ignore everyone's quests?

I walked around there, but I was unaware that coffins are vehicles as well. Not everyone played every souls game.

Cope

Presumably nothing, seeing how you can only enter the boss room through Fia's quest

Oh, I didn't imagine the room would be locked. That's annoying. I was planning on using the elevator north of the Carian tower or going through the Frenzied Flame room, but I guess it doesn't matter if the boss room is blocked off.

>sees lonely coffin at the bottom of the waterfall
>doesn't think about checking it out
Sounds like a you problem

No, I mean I think you can still enter the room only there's no boss or anything there, just Godwyn's corpse. I forgot for a moment that you have to fight Fia's simps as well. I never tried it though so who knows

>Godwyn is LITERALLY Ned Stark
Lmfao

>I am wonder who would want that.
I'm wondering that too. While Ranni certainly needed a demigod to die at the same time as her, everything that followed after isn't something she planned as she gains absolutely nothing from it.
I can't imagine how much worse your seething would be if she chose one of her brothers or either Miquella or Malenia as it would have left one of the twins heartbroken.

Casually, or with a singular purpose in mind that isn't related to completionism.

I'm pretty sure she had a thing going with pre-frenzy Vyke, just look at Vyke's Dragonbolt description:
> Of all the knights, Vyke the Dragonspear was the one Lansseax loved the most.

That doesn't describe Ned Stark though, Ned was a literal autist obessed with muh honor and mediocre/bad at everything else

Plotting, indifference isn't malicious
