I completed Salamanders route a few days ago and while it was pretty entertaining seeing her get embarrassed so much and falling for Riki, I’m not really sure what the message was supposed to be behind her route. Be nice to your pets? You can certainly tell the EX routes are afterthoughts. I’m starting to think Futaki’s is never gonna fucking end

It's typical in VNs for great girls to not get very good routes plot-wise

I kinda like Futaki but her route is too much torture porn compared to Haruka’s which was a little more grounded. I’m happy to hear that Saya’s route is good. That’s all I have left after I finish up Futaki’s. Is the dungeon crawler thing any fun? Wasn’t really looking forward to that

I can see how someone might think that. She was the first route I did because I thought she was the cutest but there’s a lot of moments where she is sorta a bitch to the other characters. She has the best theme in the game however

Turn off the minigame. I'm pretty sure you don't get anything for doing it. Other than that, use a guide. For some reason the time spent in that dungeon is really memorable for me, the back-and-forth between Saya and Riki is a lot of fun

Nice I thought you were forced to play it. Mii’s theme is a little boring but I loved her route. Probably my favorite out of the heroines. She seemed like such a boring character at first but she really shines in her route and is my ideal gf

I'm seemingly one of the few who preferred KnS 1, based on the vndb score. It was still pretty good and the ending was pure kino, but 1 is one of my all-time favourites

I didn't like any of the character routes, but I loved the true route. Same thing in most Key games, except Rewrite.

I, on the other hand, hated absolutely everything about Summer Pockets - especially the true route - but loved Kamome's route

That’s odd, I loved them both so much it’s hard even now to pick which I think is better. Although, I think LB edges it out by just a bit honestly. LB didn’t really have any inherently “bad” routes imo but Clannad had shit like Chappi or whatever his name was and the old teacher route that didn’t really go anywhere.

KnS2 is good but it takes a long while to really begin because of the pre-war segments that take a long while to read and do not tell you immediately why they are important. Also to fully understand it you should read Cartagra because otherwise you won't know what's the deal with the Senri cult and why is Toji involved. It helps establish the world it's set in but the time investment might be not an easy task.
KnS3 is an abstract kind of hell. It's so hard to get any enjoyment out of it, the things that made previous titles good are gone, no more hanging out with schoolgirls. Only you and the sense of being lost without any directions. The murder case is like being lost in the fog without any evidence to point you to the culprit. I read around half of it and I don't know when will I take on it again.
