Game doesn’t spend a lot of time developing characters and expects you to be sympathetic to their fates. It’s long run time makes you forget all the decent moments in the game.

Ellie and Joel’s story was finished. Game should have been about the Scar-WLF conflict. That could’ve been something interesting, controlling to people on opposing sides probably Abbey and Levs sister until it culminates into the big battle at the end.

Hated it at first replayed it and one user pointed two things out:
A) scars win at the end
B) ellie helped abby but the reason she fights against her at the end is because that didn‘t fix her ptsd

These two things should be convinced better. Other than that it‘s a fucking great game. Yes there are reasons to not like the story and it‘s fine to not like it. Yes I understand finding the lev thing dumb as fuck and the characters became ugly.
Regardless of all of that: the animation, the ost, the cinematography, the art style, the dialogue, atmosphere, the level design it‘s fucking great.

The motive of Abby doesn't make much sense in the setting.
Ex-Fireflies that back her up seem like dim-witted blood thirsty group instead of someone who tried to make the world a better place in the first game.
Due to the first point, a lot of players don't feel any connection or reason to be playing as Abby.
Just me thinking, but the game might have been better if they cut out all the Abby part or make it as a dlc.
