The games are basically compressed down a lot more so they'll be smaller to download, but they take longer to install because they need to be decompressed first.

it's safe, but unless you have a shitty internet or on a data cap, it doesn't worth your time to wait for the repack to install, not to mention you're wasting more disk space for the repacked files and for the game itself

funnily enough fitgirl repacks are allowed and quite popular on GG. that should tell you enough about whether the repacks are any good

It's possible to inject anything from a crypto miner to a backdoor rootkit through drivers and dlls and maks them as redistributives all their releases include wich you cannot opt out from (afaik), the installers also always require admin permissions (afaik).

Don't download his repacks. All he does is take someone else's torrent and reduce its size by 10% which doesn't matter as it will simply take 10% longer to unpack.
This guy is a fucking scammer. If you download his torrents you are giving free advertising and more people will download these stolen torrents with links to where you can download to him. Because he pretends to be a woman a lot of people download bitcoin to him. This guy is probably a millionaire and he did it by pretending to be a woman online and just downloading other people's torrents and sticking links to where you can donate to him in the torrents.
This guy doesn't get his hands on the games, he doesn't crack them. If anything he makes it less likely for people to hack games because if they do their torrents will just be used to make some tranny rich while they themselves get nothing.

Can confirm this. The Switch repacks on her site have older, much worse versions of Yuu/Ryujinx emulators which are impossible to update because the repackaging broke them.

Other than this small specific complaint, Fitgirls repacks are great. They work 100% of the time and they are safe to use.

Even if it's a new version with a repack that just released, it will still break the games if you install an update to it, it will work without updates/DLC installed after which for many games is fine, but if it's a game that gets a lot of updates/DLCs you want, like Monster Hunter or something, you will have to redownload the game again anyway
