But depending on the game, the company localising it, it can be as good. Or at least better than the alternative which is not playing the game at all.
If a game is fun I can overlook a cringe localisation. (of course, if a 'game' has no gameplay at all and is a glorified picture book then sure, the quality of the localisation becomes a lot more important - but I wouldn't 'play' those)
