Sorta cheating a bit here but Skyrim: SE is far better than the vanilla game. God rays, better textures, higher poly models, etc. "oh boo hoo my 900 porn mods won't work" idc, game is fine enough as it is plus the inbuilt mod downloader is good enough. Also Creation Club content, sucks it costs money but it's pretty decent especially if you have Anniversary which makes all that shit free.

They did and its not a rumor, if you listen to certain parts of the SH3 HD dialogue you can hear the original dub underneath the new dub because they had to rip some parts from a PS2 disc since they lost the originals

It's not a rumor, and they didn't exactly "lose" them. Japanese studios simply did not store the data of old projects at all. They often started form a clean table.
It's a mixture of saving precious storage space when that shit was still limited, combined with the pretty reasonable idea of people of the Y2K era simply not understanding why some PS5 era super humans would even want to play primitive 20-30 years old games.
Definitely overblown, IMO. Biggest issue with it are the new voices and how they chose implement them the massive lipsync desync is hilarious. Crying over comic-sans is the silliest thing ever and definitely forced by some eceleb. The new textures only show up in the beginning of the game. Fog was enhanced with the patch though only available on PS3.

it's missing a lot of extra content and some anons claim it has broken graphical effects but I can't think of a moment playing it on 360 where it looked outright bad or glitched

You really need to dig out evidence, because I've played each of the original three SH games several DOZENS of times since the early 2000, and I can assure you that there are no Comic Sans in the original games.

I saw a stream of this and the guy literally couldn't beat SH3 due to the game slowing down to a crawl with its fps and it kept freezing at this one particular spot for him in the town. This was when it just released though so I am sure it was patched long ago.
The point though is the games on launch were absolutely broken literally so don't give me this bullshit OP. And no amount of patching will ever fix how badly they fucked the game up in the other areas. GTA trilogy though now owns the crown for worst game remasters of all time.

I know this is bait, but the patches touched up SOME fog in SOME areas, and barely fixed the performance issues and crashes. The patches aren't even available for the Xbox version, which is technically the only modern console that can run it.
