dont really know shit about the game but i will say it was good idea to lock the good ending behind not dying as the android (even though he can wire into a new body) because it reminds his human sidekick just how little death affects the robot vs him/his dead son.

That people are easily filtered and will neglect the most important detail of a story even when it's put in front of your face. But it's stupid for multiple reasons. Androids explicitly aren't human, they don't suffer or have problems the way humans do. They simply aren't human. We can respect them and treat them as individuals who are intelligent, but they're not restricted by things look food, water, tiredness, etc. Star Trek's "Measure of a Man" does a better job exploring the ideas of robots being "People".

The game would have been a lot better if it was just the detective side, and didn't go into "Muh negro struggle", there's a lot of room to explore respect, understanding, and sympathy, which is timeless and helps us deal with issues like "Don't be prejudiced" without being retarded. Androids could be symbiotic with humans, but aren't humans.
