Started playing it because of 2B's ass, but it fucking sucks

One of my favorite games of all times. Absolutely beautiful. The story, music, atmosphere, are honestly a few tiers above anything else I've experienced in vidya.
Gameplay is meh, but that's alright because immediately after the tutorial level the gameplay was just something to get through to get more of the story.

no I played through the whole thing and got the final ending, and besides looking up one or two weapon locations I didn't wiki anything. I thought the characters and there relationships were some of the best I've seen in vidya, so I was surprised at how boring the cast of automata was.

A&B are the same story from different perspectives, C D E are all continuations after the point where A and B conclude. Why the fucking nutjob does this to every one of his games will always confuse me but being immersed in this lunatics mind entertains me in ways I didn't know were possible. It's not very everyone but if you can get into it, Taro is wonderfully insane.

I recall finishing this like 2 years ago. I thought it was ok up until the ending. The way she was crying over 9s was extremely cringe and lasted like what felt like 2 minutes. Thought they were going to fuck too as he was dying. Maybe it's a Japanese thing, but it was not necessary. Also only liked it up until the end because I like grinding/upgrading stuff, so I'm not surprised if like 50% of people who played this didn't complete it/like it

9s's character arc is literally on par with becoming Caim. His whole character arc is showing no matter how much he tries to attach to something he's being used by other people for an ulterior motive. Even his love for 2B is questionable as she's just his handler. He's stuck between wanting to love and rape her to death for everything she did to him.

I did beat the entire game, but didn't 100% it because I thought it was like a 6-7/10.

I'm currently partway through 9S's playthrough and I won't lie, I am feeling a little bored of doing basically the same thing over again. The game is so overwhelmingly dramatic in its presentation that I feel like an immediate almost identical repeat playthrough is kind of counterintuitive to the spectacle. I hope new exciting content begins soon.

Route B is a lot shorter thankfully. Stick with it because it gets real good after you beat B.
