Hypernova on the other hand was the closest Kirby has ever come to actually being a terrifying, unstoppable monster. I only wish there was more to it, kind of like how you could at least bash ghosts against the ground in Luigi's Mansion 3, instead of it amounting to "push B, instantly win" like the super abilities.

I feel a huge part of it comes down to whether or not you're aware that minibosses have a defense buff when they do their war cries. Getting the timing down, (or getting lucky,) to deal maximum damage to the bonkers really help speed up the process once they spawn.
