WTF IS THIS CREATURE?
WTF IS THIS CREATURE?
Godwyn
Cut content
soulless
junni ito retarded cousin
Appears to be a merman in a dress
yeah.
average mistery meat american in the year 2200
WTF. Despite the hair, why there is another one just like him? Also, this mermaid tail makes no sense
imgur.com
Cut content? Nigga he's dead how would you fight him
Isn't he just soulless, not dead? There was something in the lore about one Ranni losing their body and the other losing their soul
He is spreading, you probably found some weird looking crabs while traversing the lands between, well if you take a second to observe them you cans see faces on them.
He's dead in soul and not body, but he's still a lot dead-er than most and can't really do anything.
mixed race :^)
KEK
the future of america
godswim
so what's the conclusion?
HOLY
There's shit in my ass
Same with the basilisks, their eyes are very similar to the ones in godwyn after being killed.
There are also some godwyn roots in the giants mountaintop catacomb
Then go clean it you faggot, nobody wants shit on their dick.
That's freaky.
damn, do they only show up there? who even catches this stuff?
If you go back to Summonwater Village you can find an entire mass of them taking over the destroyed buildings.
So as I understand it Godwyn is in a sort of Limbo, dead but somehow not, a rotting growth like a fungus not unlike The Rot. Since Godwyn is embedded in the roots of the Erdtree, his corpse is infecting the lands above
>the Sun Sol is just a moon
Are Castle Sol people retarded?
He's deader than dead but his body is the body of a god and wasn't exactly killed with his soul so the death rune mutated his body as time went on and people exposed to it are eventually Blighted which is why after Rogier stuck his dick in those roots he ended up crippled and slowly dying.
Erdtree trying to regurgitate Godwyn, but his soul is gone, so like a cancer it just continues to break the rules and ends up creating malformities that don't work.
Now I understand, the Mariners, the fishtail, the crabs, Godwyn spreads through water
>"our sun Sol"
>"my wolf Lobo"
Those lines sounded so retarded that they ended up rewording them and altering the spelling of the names to something vaguely resembling Nordic in the Spanish translation.
To stop the spread, we must remove water.
It's what happens to you when a woman plots against you.
His body is alive but with no soul and thus no mind or intent of any kind... why fight? He just sits there, passively, growing into a cancerous tumor that infects the roots of the erdtree.
the one fia cucks you for
Why did Ranni target him specifically? She just needed someone to die at the same time to break the rune and let her become a ghost and them a zombie? She could have targeted Morgott or Mohg, not the guy who seems to a bro.
>it rains in the lands between
GodWIN won
What’s the lore behind wormfaces? What’s the lore behind death blight?
uuh i hate them and they're gross avoid on horse
he's a troon, just like half of all the others characters in the game
mermaid is a troon symbol
>You don't see the capacity of Godwyns cancer because most of the game is on land the few beings with signs of his curse are Basilisks and Crabs
>First Instance of Godwn's influnece is found in the Aqueduct of Stormveil
>You find the Malignant Godcorpse in the moist underground of the capital
Fucking From and their Deep Sea bullshit, when are they just going to make Deep Souls already? They already have proven time and time again they can create the most horrid things imaginable and their best work is a guy who's already dead. I would hate it if they just half-assed DLC and made Godwyn an actual boss, he would literally be undone completely if they made the Merman corpse a moving being but I'd love to see a creature that takes on even more of his fucked up mutations kind of like Ludwig.
>Godwyn spreads through water
Death blight is AIDs spreading from Godwyn's corpse.
We don’t know because Miyazaki is a hack
I guess when the deathblight spreads it tends to form face like it does on the crabs
The fire giant corpses in mountaintops were blighted too and that happened before Godwin’s death.
>when are they just going to make Deep Souls already?
you have Bloodborne DLC so
She's a cunt, that becomes obvious when you talk to her. Properly wanted the shattering to happen by trying to push Marika over the brink.
makes me wonder what would happen if you somehow restored godrick's soul after his body had mutated this much
can't imagine it'd be a particularly sane situation to find yourself in
>death blight=godwyn’s aids
>curse rot=malenia’s aids
>godrick
god damnit
godwyn
the face is growing on him, its not his face
you can see the face growing in other places around the world and on the crabs
>What’s the lore behind death blight?
Erdtree is built OVER the Crucible.
Crucible is used to recycle people.
Night of Black Knives results in Wyn being immortal, but his soul is 100% dead.
Some idiots basically bury his body down at the erdtree rots
It fucking clogs the crucible and starts turning into the thorn curse.
Could this fix it? Sure
All it would take is enough Black Knifes or getting Malakith down there as a plumber
But they don't, because NoBK results in a massive civil war shitstorm.
I just want to know why it turned squidface. Presumably Godwin didn't have a squid for a face, but then after dying he did.
Hmm?
Everyone loved Godwyn and Ranni is a spiteful jealous cowardly woman
dont care if none of this is explained or makes sense, its one of the coolest world prop gimmicks/monster designs theyve ever done
>300k tris for a mesh that you can't see from up close
Japanese optimization strikes again
Godwyn or most probably the lich dragon.
Godwyn's corspe melted into the roots and since the roots of the tree go everywhere his "visage" is spreading troughout the land.
It's preyy because it's in the details and most "tumors" have a face that looks like this or the vague shape of it
Because it looks creepy.
This dude is the entire admiral's feast at red lobster
I hope we get to fight godrick in his prime in one of the dlcs. He seemed like a true chad. I can imagine a nameless king esque boss fight where he rides fortissax.
Seeing these freaked me the fuck out
Those dead eyes
It's clear that wasn't enough for them or maybe it's just the Artist has a real thing for deep sea and they tried their best to fit it in because I remember his Portfolio for Non-Souls stuff even had a few Deep Sea themed monsters in it.
Not true since the giants in mountaintops were death blighted, and this occurred before godwyn’s death. Which means that deathblight originated before godwyn.
Godwyn's corpse body transforming into a proverbial mushroom that is killing the tree from within.
This makes sense but then you'd expect the squids to also be corrutped with death
Who's more likely to be a focus in dlc, Godwyn or Miquella?
That faggot got his ass kicked so hard by the rot bitch, he had to dress up as a girl just to run away from her. What chad are you talking about here?
Giants where impaled and genocided.
The last one remaining is only there to be tortured to death by being forced to guard the gigantic fire pot.
but that still doesnt say anything? What is the deathblight doing?
It's the tree part of the mutation, the mouth is spewing out roots. It's more obvious with the face in Stormveil than it is the actual body since it's propped up.
*Godwyn
Will we get more open world areas to explore? What would they even add?
I got confused since Godrick is suppose to be a busy using grafting when I realized you mixed up the names. I constantly do that with Godfrey, Godrick and Godwyn.
Miquella has unsuded shit they can repurpose
So who made albinaurics? And why?
and almost fully obscured in darkness from the roots
>RaNNi DId NoTHiNg WrONg
Yeah sure.
Crucible Feather Talisman explains the body parts of beasts, like wings or tails, used to be a signifier of divinity. So he has that tail because Godwyn's body is devolving into the primordial state.
Also, he's alive. Tree roots absorb decaying bodies for nutrients, but his body is immortal, and is actually merging with the Erdtree and surrounding life. His consciousness is basically spreading through nature itself, I expect it'll be explained fully in the DLC.
boiled crabs give you temporar defense buff because you inflict yourself with dead and dying partially, and don't feel pain
miquella most likely, tons of cut dream stuff to do with him
though a godwyn DLC with a locale that's just completely godwynated would be cool
Miquella.
I doubt they’ll explore godwyn since what happened to him is self-explanatory and there’s much to do with him.
You forgot Godefroy
eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com
the mages made them for slave labor.
There's a lot of cut content surrounding Miquella so expect them to do something with him then anyone else, such as seemingly being able to interact with Malenia before the boss fight, a questline all about St. Trina and apparently a ending called age of abundance.
rannirespecter.wordpress.com
Miquella. Godwyn may have a side area though. Isn't there a busted ship on the map out in the sea?
carians most likely
We may get 2 or 3 dlcs. All of which could focus on a child of one of the 3 Marika marriages. Godwyn for Marika/Godfrey, Miquella for Radagon/Marika and maybe Ranni for Rennala/Radagon.
Crabs have hard shells user
So, how big is this thing compared to every other monsters anyways? The biggest things I can remember are the Fire Giant, the giant dragon in the capital, and those huge demon skulls that litter Caelid.
Is there a reason why albinauric men look like that and albinauric women(tm) and old farts are just paraplegic albinos?
We don't even know if Ranni the tranny ordered the hit on Godwyn stop that shit
Seems like there’s more to them considering how there’s old crawling albinaurics and wolf rider archers.
it looks like it's in pain.
but you don't eat their shells silly user, you eat their boiled meat
1st gen were the women, but they all came out crippled except for maybe loretta
2nd gen were able to walk but dont look like humans
seems the process used to create albinaurics is imperfect
i have also heard that there is a Godwyn face in Farum Azula. i presume it's in the pond with that giant Godwyn worm cultist.
oi am da dungater
The mermaid tail is actually the tail of a basilisk
It has something to do with Miquella's Haligtree
>Oh young yet towering sister of ours. Let the birthing droplet in. And create life. For us. For all the Albinaurics.
it has no soul, it's just a mass of cells growing with no purpose
Old crawling albinaurics are defective 1st generation albinaurics.
Frog men are 2nd gen. Read their spirit ash description.
No idea about the wolf rider ladies though.
Old albinaurics have a planned obsolescence that makes their legs deteriorate before they die. Wolf riding archer(s?) can just be them building their own culture despite their slavery.
The 2nd gen albinaurics are the frog looking ones. The 1st gen men are the ones you see all over the place.
They're Miquella and Mohg's kids
Hold up. Deathblight existed BEFORE Godwyn got shanked? Does this mean some other god got half-killed?
hold on, the face is actually upside down? like i knew that it was his hair sticking out of the clamshell but this makes him seem so much more disgusting.
Why are wolf rider albinaurics all female though.
>walk up to it thinking I'm about to have an amazing, unique boss encounter
>it's a 3 npc invasion with health bars
She literally admits to being the one behind the Night of the Black Knifes. Everyone knows it was the night godwyn was killed and she makes no effort to hide being behind it when you confront her with that knowledge. She didn't care about who her target it was clearly but she targeted him as she needed somebody to split the rune's death with her for her plan to remain in spirit.
Damn, I didn't realize that they have his golden hair too.
>No idea about the wolf rider ladies though.
they still cannot walk, i guess they're pure and young version of 1st generation.
>Rogier's questline has you outright accuse her of being behind the night of the black knives
>Doesn't deny it, just says your quite the sleuth and proceeds to admit she stole the rune of death, made the godslaying knives and "I did it all".
Come on user.
Yep. The giants were deathblighted. And this all happened way before godwyn died.
So? She did nothing wrong.
>Death cancer spreading all over the world
>"BUT SHE WON MY HEART!"
Please get a girlfriend.
>same size as black knife assassins in the slideshow
>now a giant with size-appropriate skirt and bracelets
Considering basically all the major god nobles are directly influenced by some outer god, it wouldn't shock me if some death aspect outer god is buried somewhere in the world and influenced Godwyn after his death.
Godefroy the reused
So deathblight is thing that exists, and Godwyn being buried in the tree just spread it more and made it worse. Works for me.
The giants being dead blighted makes no sense at all since Marika waged war against them.
Proof that from didn’t give a fuck about this game’s lore.
>Killed a Aryan Chad bro everyone thought was great for no reason beyond "REEEEEE MUH GREATER WILL"
