This is one thing I don't like about Japan. You graduate from high-school and your life is basically over. The sentiment is that your life will never be better than it was when you were in high-school. Now you're just another boring adult. All the Persona endings are always like this. Look at some picture of the characters when they are slightly older with an air of nostalgia that feels like death. Like there's nothing more than this because this is it.
