These kind of FPS franchises feel very ten years ago to me now. I just don't care anymore. You're going to have to really do something interesting to get my attention, and black James Bond isn't it.

I was disappointed at the time mechanic, I was hoping for something more like outer wilds where learning the timing of events is important rather than it being just level based with time only advancing once you kill a target.

The powers were too much dishonoured, and subtracts away from the hitman style working your way through to taking out everyone and left behind other parts like nailing the timing mechanic like said.
On the other hand, the movement and future tech meant you could have the dishonoured commuting, but with none of the pace, chasing or fun close quarter combat.
Man I feel for Prey series. Always on the edge of gold but then falls short. I heard about one of the original Prey games wanting to have a portal gun in, before it was scrapping thinking no one would want to do puzzles with it.

Both. It's too much like Dishonored to play like the FPS it's trying to be, while it's also not enough like Dishonored to be the stealth-assassination game it's ALSO trying to be.

Looks dull, the characters are unappealing, and Arkane doesn't usually make anything I like gameplay-wise. I could complain about the developer's messiah complex and adherence to negative aspects of progressive liberal dogma. But I don't think it's really relevant to why this game is unappealing.

Having cool characters will do a lot to make people pick up a game. It's not even strictly a problem of them being black, they just feel like such bland diversity bait.
I mean, look at the guy. It's a short haired man in a leather jacket (but black). That sucks. That's like the archetypal boring 2008 character(but black).

Not enough variety in weapons and setting.
There is only one route to take to kill all vips.
MC banter with that one chick gets pretty annoying after resetting a dozen times.

no it doesn't but their engine is a clunky mess so there was no way to release it on ps4 with stable 30 fps.

Crack came out way too late so nobody talked about it. I was willing to play it but now I don't even care to pirate it anymore.
