Look at your own image for the answer. It was absolutely magical. Leveling in classic WoW is still one of the best gaming experiences out there. No MMO will ever top it.

Part of the magic comes from the moment in time, where people played games like this differently.

A bit of both.
The world is truly impressive.. for the most part.
But it's not some legendary masterwork by modern standards. What sets it apart is that it was truly amazing in 2004.

Back then, the developers gave a shit, and the community was much better.

It had soul, atmosphere, mystery. Things werent spoonfed to you. Not every questions had their answers. The world, even though it was at its smallest, felt at its biggest.

Classic WoW was truly amazing. But good things dont last.

It was the closest thing to going on an actual adventure any of us will ever experience in our lives.

where my cowmens at

there was, it evolved out of it over the years following WotLK though. Journeying from zone to zone on foot was fucking magical in itself, but the places and sounds you'd encounter along the way kept the whole thing together.

>No MMO will ever top it.
Should we tell him?
