most i've payed for a game in the last 5 years was £50, and that was one time. i can get most things for a pretty steep discount, even for preorders, but I don't buy new games that often anyways.
Resident Evil 1 was $70 when it came out for the Playstation 1. If the price of video games rised proportional to inflation, that would be $125 today. I don't really have a point, I just thought it was interesting.
