you'd sound like an absolute autist if you actually said this
You'd sound like an absolute autist if you actually said this
>scumbag zoomer didn't play mgs3
Have you listened to the average AR15 fanboy speak before?
AKs are better
>state a fact that needs to be stated
>"y-you're an autist!!1!1"
Do you mean the wording or the meaning?
Actually the engraving removes some metal, therefore making it lighter. Ounces lead to pounds and more weight obviously will fatigue you faster. But a fat tranny dev wouldn't understand that, considering the character models wear about 60 pounds of bullshit gear because it looks le heckin tactical.
>the recoil bruised my shoulder
>dialog from mgs
>you'd sound like an autist if you actually said this
no shit sherlock
still a nice cutscene tho
Engravings means more cleaning and upkeep as well, plus the whole point of the line is that Ocelot was a young punk and the engravings were part of that cocky outlook he had.
Kino
I have
/k/ would be unusable if they didn't make their own general thread
>average glock fanboys
FTFY
>engrave something
>weaken the structural integrity of something for looks
If you want light weight then get something smaller that's engineered for it's size rather than ruining something for aesthetics
>million billion dollar funding
>implying you wont use new weapons every op
Retards.
shotgun chads stay winning.
>just compromise your gear because looks are more important that having something not fail when you need it! we got money!
shouldn't you be at the mall practicing your ninja arts
Christ you're a fucking idiot. Have you ever had a job?
t. Ocelot
Literally every main character in MGS is autistic.
Have you never spoke to a gun nut before? They're some of the most autistic people on the planet.
>Christ you're a fucking idiot
ironic
>Have you ever had a job
Yes, have you?
now i remember the autism tier list from /mgg/
Lighter isn't better. Anyone who has actually shot guns knows this. The weight of the gun dampens the recoil. Those little purse guns have more recoil than a fat 1911.
what hideous font is that and where have i seen it before?
it's not even true. engravings happens to make it overall less slippery
you could just use standard grips or checkering for that and it only really applies to the handles
if you're engraving something it's for aesthetics
Heavier isn't better, retard.
>t. Carries an all metal pistol + spare mags
I hate you, so goddamn much. The reality is that you'll never fire a shot in anger before you get capped by some malnourished nigger that doesn't know his multiplication tables. Lighter is better unless you're in a protracted gunfight. You aren't, and you'll never be. The likelihood is much higher that you'll just point the fucker at someone, while you wait for someone dumber than you to come take over, and keeping your gun on target is solely a function of weight, until you start shooting. Once you start shooting accuracy goes out the window anyway, because your adrenaline is spiked and muscle memory takes the wheel. If you've, by some miracle, reached this point without a ton of new orifices, follow up shots having marginally more recoil is the least of your worries. God I hate you niggers.
Armed mall cop, out. Don't @ me, faggot.
Since this is a stealth /k/ thread what rifle should I buy with my tax return? I don't own any but have shot M16's and M4's
a crate of mosins, of course
The criticism is more in line with how this gun probably cost a lot more than a non-engraved gun of the same make and model. It's inherently wasteful.
Something practical to start with, a .22 of some kind.
I follow one on twitter because they make some good art of an obscure series. Constantly they post or repost shit from other people and they also draw a lot of art of characters from said obscure series with retarded looking tacticool bullshit ARs that clash with their character designs and look much worse than the cartoonish classic gun inspired designs of the firearms the characters actually use (assuming they even were drawing someone who uses a gun ingame and not just slapping it on a character who uses a sword or spear or robot or some shit). I don't use /k/ much but I wonder if these kind of people are like the equivalent of Fortnite fans in the gun community. Lately he's been reposting shit about him being filtered by Elden Ring so now I know he's a soulsbab too.
God I fucking hate that I have to put up with that shit website to get good fanart nowadays.
Not a bad idea, but I was thinking an AR
Oh yeah I forgot I already own a .22 I just never shoot it
Does he also tell people wearing business suits that a more expensive tie is wasteful because he could get a cheaper plain tie?
Also he wears a fashionable scarf that probably cost more than buying a used t shirt and cutting it up.
I vote for a .223 bolt action. AR's are fun but boring unless you get a full auto lower and actually get to use it. Bolt actions are so fun to shoot plus you could hunt with them too
>t. infantry retard
Buy a over/under.
Put in under your face and blow you brains all over the ceiling.
What handgun should I get? It has to look cool though for when I brandish people on the highway. I'm thinking a el classico Beretta 9mm. Thoughts?
1911 in 38 super with mexican engraving and gold inlay
>It has to look cool though for when I brandish people on the highway.
unironically get something boring like a glock iif you actually plan on using it for self defense. Heard police will sometime steal good stuff like lugers as "evidence" plus it just looks better in court if you ever go there. Scary nazi gun looks way worse for you than a generic glock that everyone knows the police uses.
duck-tap covered Luger .22 with a flashlight on top and on bottom
here is an example. the spanish is mandatory.
If a specialist isn't autistic he is trash, simple as.
>fun to shoot
They're only fun because of the clickity clack bolt go back
Big boolit is nice, too.
>.223
>a .223 boltie, at that
Bruh. Unfuck your life.
Intermediate cartridges are specifically designed for carrying lots of ammo over long distances with lethality preserved.
That's literally all of the things you probably WON'T be doing with a boltie that you're shooting for fun. God dam, dood.
Full power rifle cartridge or .22 for a bolt action
Unfuck your brain. You've been breathing in the burn pit, again, haven't you?
I live in basically Mexico at this point, hence the brandishing. A beaner strap would just get stolen probably. I love the 1911 look though
Good idea but every cop I've talked to is obsessed with glocks. Plus I dont like their anti limp wrist bullshit. If you need tp send some rounds out quicker than you can properly grip it itll just jam and thats stupid to me.
I'm not black
>Step 1: Have a lots of money
>Step 2: Waste them all
>Step 3: Bankrupt because lots of money =/= infinite money
This is how the poor remain poor.
>mall cop
top kek my dude
self defense laws encourage snap decision shooting as "fearing for your life" is the magic word in court and if you're holding them at gunpoint that argument is significantly weakened, it's also way easier to fuck you for it as we saw during the floydist riots.
for cops, sure. they don't get fucked over for brandishing or deadly force from just holding their gun so being a bit lighter might matter especially if you have to run someone down. But for normal people there's no reason to use a smaller/lighter gun unless you can't conceal a full size.
You can't call yourself American if you don't own an AR15.
I fucking hate autistic kids. Shut the fuck up.
Elvis Presley owned a Walther PPK engraved with his name and "Takin' Care of Business"
He famously used it to shoot a television that was showing a Robert Goulet concert
It sold for $96,000 in 2015
>Says the guy dressed like a fucking cowboy
>glock fanboys
>Implying it's not just a good gun
Explain
He also owned this unspeakably ugly magnum
Go to a different website.
Have anyone here ever shot a snub nose?
I've shot my grandad's .38 special snub nose J model, and it is HILARIOUS how much you can't hit shit with it.
From like 5 yards.
>for normal people there's no reason to use a smaller/lighter gun
>Tell me you don't carry a gun every day without saying the words
Shut the fuck up, retard.
Here's a list of reasons
>You don't own a shoulder holster and/or can't open carry
>It's hot out and you want to dress light, heavy gun makes this difficult or impossible
>you're female and don't have pockets or a waistband
>Standing, bending at the waist, walking for extended periods of time, bulky/heavy gun = bad
>Guns you can easily hide or pocket do not include full size handguns
>An object you'll likely never need to use causing you more discomfort than it's apparently worth
>you need to lift heavy objects or fit into tight spaces that require you to contort your body, regularly
>you're going to be active and outside for an extended period of time for literally anything other than bench shooting
Holy shit, you clearly don't carry a gun; shut the hell up.
You're (normal people) holding them at gunpoint AFTER the situation is largely resolved, dumbass. You don't holster your gun when there's a potential threat still present. Shoot until the threat is neutralized. After that, keep it and your eye on them (and your surroundings) until the highschool diploma/GED crew rolls up with their sirens blaring.
Kill yourself, bench queen.
And?
>Lighter is better unless you're in a protracted gunfight.
What do you think a private military company does?
I don't get that female argument. a girl could carry a glock 34 under her skirt and at the worst people might think she has a feminine penis.
It's not a good gun. It's a well-marketed gun. It has a lot of aftermarket parts available, which you'll need, to make it good.
>Procurement officials get discounts on them and buy them en masse to issue to people who don't have a choice, don't care, and don't practice with them.
>enthusiasts buy something else
These two lines should tell you everything you'll need to know.
Personally, I think: trigger safety is garbage idea and an even worse implementation, squared slide is for ease of manufacturing and basically has negative ergonomics, >polymer frame, depressing the trigger to disassemble is a morbid joke, stock sights suck, grip angle feels gross but I can't really be certain if that's just my bias or not.
>t. Built a Glock, qualified for state licensure on a Glock
It's basically the Apple of firearms.
>It's basically the Apple of firearms.
>looks like a Thinkpad
