The travel system they used was intentionally inefficient. Way too many loading screens. They improved that.
The lack of proper scaling was apparent. There is a sweet spot around level 15 -20. Everything before is degreesof aggracation and everything after is puss easy and boring.
Not aquality of life change but an important world building is the amient noise in the game world. Morrowind had ambient noise for rain and ash storms and little else.

It is not a bad game just lacking compared to later titles.

I like Morrowind for the Kirkbride lore and writing.

Temple because you go from performing legit religious ceremonies that flesh out the Temple faith (but are mostly veiled propaganda) to hunting down cool artifacts, all of which you can keep at the end. That and it conflicts with the main quest so it feels more impactful of a choice to pursue.

I liked the combat in Daggerfall, I found it strangely elegant for what it was. Swiping the mouse in different directions works great for doing directional attacks. In later entries you press movement keys to do directional attacks and it feels off. I wonder why they made that change.
