shit writing, shit gameplay, shit presentation. One of the worst FEs ever
Easily one of the worst Fire Emblems ever made. The whole series went to shit once it moved to the 3DS/Switch, but Three Houses is honestly a new low.
Shit writing, great gameplay, great presentation. One of the best FEs ever.
I love my wife Bernie!
It's the dragons. They're fucking stupid and bad and I hate them so much!
gameplay's always opinion but the presentation is shit. It looks like a Wii game at best
You're the best thing to come out of 3H, Bernierbro and Bernie
boring just like every other FE game
I can never not see the bow not being aligned
Why are you even bothering to ask this when you're clearly just trying to bait angry replies?
>How's this game?
This is all you need to know honestly.

Never made sense that the 3ds games have better lightening than the switch game
The only good part of the game is warpskipping every level in the second half of the game so you can ignore all of the stuff you're supposed to do between levels.
It's ugly as sin, but the characters are pretty fun, and the tactics are interesting enough.
>three houses
>tactics
lol. lmao.
It's some of the deepest Fire Emblem can get.
Fire Emblem was never a good strategy game. It's just chokepoints and dodgetanks.
Fun game, great characters.
Cutesythea
It's very fun
>great characters.
>posts the worst ones
Uoooooooooooooooooooh: the character
Amazing writing, alright gameplay, alright presentation. One of the best FEs ever
It's fun.
Wanted to get a switch for this game, FE warriors, triangle strategy, zelda, and maybe xenoblade, but I haven't made a decision on whether it's worth it or not yet. Thanks for reading my blog post.
>pedo hates El
Not surprising!
Everything is correct. The only people who like this game are insufferable "anime is my life" types. Its literally a build your own anime game. The gameplay itself is terrible. Youre only playing this to jerk off to the girls. And boys.
Anyone with a brain would hate Edelgard for being a terrible person and character and anyone with taste would hate Byleth for being a black void of personality.
I loved it. Beat it three times back to back.
Just wish there was more maps and enemy variety.
9/10
Pfft as if you needed to see some VA being a fag to know this game was pozzed.
Characters having flaws makes them interesting. She’s probably the best character ever in a Nintendo game. Byleth being a blank slate sucks but at least I can read fanfiction and headcanon her as an autistic airhead.
>but I haven't made a decision on whether it's worth it or not yet
You're better off playing the old FEs on emulator. 3H is not worth the time on account of the filler, the terrible plot, the very questionable game designs that basically demand you make everyone a mounted unit, the lack of reason to play any other route other than AM.
Edelgard canonically rounds up all the homos and trannies and has them executed
>Characters having flaws makes them interesting.
Characters overcoming their flaws makes them interesting. Just having flaws makes them one note characters. Edelgard is a one note character.
That would mean killing herself and a third of the Empire that plays for both teams. Edelgard would be the type of person to march in a pride parade alongside the other freaks.
Thank you, I'll take your words into consideration.
It's okay. It has a ton of flaws in writing, and a bunch of other shit that could have been easily fixed, but that isn't important. the gameplay itself is just a mediocre FE game, the maps aren't very inspired, and often felt "flat" for lack of better word. For most people the school sections of the game are a coin toss, and you either enjoy the change of pace, or you hate it for eating up so much time.
>but you can "skip" it
you miss out on a lot of extra shit if you skip it. I recall the only way around it is to do NG+ several times, and buy all the relationship/skill ranks with the NG+ points. NG+ is also somewhat flawed, each route shares the same first 20, or so chapters with slight variances in dialogue based on which route you are in. after the time skip each route has 4-7 maps that are unique, bar golden deer/church routes which apparently share the exact fuckign same post game maps, and the only difference is dialogue. I had no desire to play through the same 20 chapters to see a few different ones after doing 2 routes. it didn't help that the game wasn't very challenging.
6.5/10 not bad, but could have been much better.
TL:DR
Writing sucks, Gameplay is mediocre, lots of easily fixable shit, and it could have been better.
6.5/10. not completely awful, but there are better FE games.
australian
Do Edelgard haters ever have arguments about her that don’t involve making things up?
I accept your concession.
Edelfags need to stop picking fights with everyone else.
>hide your species for hundreds of years
>wtf why do humans think we should be ashamed of what we are!!1!
I dropped it after 10 hours.
But if you are desperate for persona fantasy it might be for you
Edelgard = worth playing
>No one likes her or her fans even in threads about her.
Edelgard didn't speak up when the slithers were killing her fellow students and using her people as guinea pigs, what makes you think Edelgard would speak up for the children getting groomed by trannies? Edelgardfags won't respond because they know Edelgard wouldn't do shit
PART 1 WHITE CLOUDS
>Flame Emperor contracts bandits to kill the heirs of both the Holy Kingdom and the Alliance.
>Allies of Agarthans and the Flame Emperor, the Western Church manipulate Lonato to lead a revolt and conspire the assassination of the Archbishop.
>Flame Emperor assigns her subordinate the Death Knight to be part of an attachment for said assassination of the Archbishop and also to commit grave robbery of WMDs. That same attachment is guilty of attempted murder of the heirs of key political powers and powerful noble families that may be nationals from foreign countries.
>Flame Emperor reports to Thales and transfers her Death Knight to him, to kidnap Flayn.
>Death Knight and his troops are guilty of attempted murder of the heirs of key political powers and powerful noble families that may be nationals from foreign countries; who were trying to rescue Flayn.
>Flame Emperor helps smuggles an assassin into the Church.
>The allies of the Flame Emperor commit human experiments on the village of Remire causing mass murder.
>The previous stated assassin oversees human experiments, and the test subjects attempt to murder heirs of key political powers and powerful noble families that may be nationals from foreign countries.
>The same assassin and current ally of the Flame Emperor LITERALLY kills Captain Jeralt of the Knights of Seiros, who is the father of Professor Byleth.
>Flame Emperor does not assist with the investigation of any events that lead up to now, and thus remain an accomplice.
>Flame Emperor leads the literal Imperial Army under the authority of the Emperor of Adrestia to raid the Holy Tomb to grave rob WMDs and also to murder the heirs of key political powers and powerful noble families that may be nationals from foreign countries that might attempt to stop them.
>Flame Emperor was Edelgard the whole time and declares war on the Church and marches to conquer the entire continent.
CF players be like, "Edelgard did nothing wrong."
I would have taken an RTS or Grand Strategy FE instead of a...musou? Where's even the overlay in audiences?
PREQUEL:
>Nemesis, a bandit, grave robs the tomb of Sothis
>Steals the bones of Sothis and forges the Sword of the Creator out of it
>Liberates humanity, kills the Nabateans and creates weapons and crest blood out of them
>Makes Seiros very angry and go into dragon rage
>Aligns with her simp Wilhelm, defeats Nemesis and the 12 elites
>Establishes the church of Seiros as proxy rule over her subordinates in the Empire, and then later, the Kingdom and Alliance, using religion as cover
>Wields an army, with her inner circle sharing her immortal blood, including the Captain of the Knights of Seiros.
Prequel Part 2:
>Rhea extracts her mother's crest stone from the dead body of her 11th test subject
>She uses this crest stone and creates another subject, Sitri, your mother
>Sitri does not manifest into Sothis, ends up serving as a nun
>Jeralt, the captain of the Knights of Seiros befriends your mother
>Sitri marries and gives birth to you, a stillborn
>Rhea kills your mother, whether this was with or without Sitri's permission, nobody knows other than Rhea.
>Implants the crest stone of Sothis into you. Still without emotion or a heartbeat
>Close friend of Sitri, Aelfric, and your father are both suspicious of what Rhea did
>Jeralt, claims you died in the fire, hides you away for fear of Rhea
Part 1 White Clouds:
>Jeralt runs into the Knights of Seiros and Captain Alois
>Visits the monastery, Rhea decides out of nowhere to make you a professor and put Jeralt back as Captain
>Jeralt grows suspicious of this
>Tells you: "Don't trust Rhea."
>"He [Jeralt] said you were frightening" - Byleth to Rhea
>After you merge with Sothis and gain green hair, Rhea wants you to sit in the throne room with the hopes of Sothis taking over your host body.
>Edelgard stops the ceremony just in time, sick of seeing the never ending crest experiments
>Rhea goes on a rampage again and turns into an angry dragon, nearly kills everyone in the tomb
Edelhaters be like: "Church good"
>Where's even the overlay in audiences?
Audience? Mainline Fire Emblem is the machine that feeds content to Heroes, IS couldn't care less about the FE audience.
no harem option so it is shit
Confirmed facts that you actually see onscreen.
Unreliable 2nd hand narrative sources.
There really isn't since the gameplay of musou is completely at odds with FE, but ISIS and KT make these FE musous because 1. they're easy to make 2. they always make a profit because its so cheap to make them.
You literally groomed Lysithea as Byleth (and that's a good thing)
My emperor...
ǝɯ ǝʞɐɯ ʇ’uɐɔ sɹǝʞɔnɟdǝǝɥs noʎ puɐ sǝɯɐƃ uɐilɐɹʇsn∀ ʎɐld oʇ ǝsnɟǝɹ ƃuiʞɔnɟ I ʇnq si siɥʇ ʇɐɥʍ ɐǝpi oN
pretty sure there's a Three Houses mod for CK3. Haven't looked into it much yet.
Lysithea's breasts were too big for my tastes so I told her to take a hike.
I'm interested in that too, might be a good way to get into that genre knowing all the 3H gang.
How many times do we have to tell you that Lysithea joining Edelgard is a fucking meme because Lysithea would personally choke out Edelgard for selling out her people
>Nemesis, a bandit, grave robs the tomb of Sothis
>Steals the bones of Sothis and forges the Sword of the Creator out of it
Yeah, that was kind of evil.
>Liberates humanity, kills the Nabateans and creates weapons and crest blood out of them
You mean conquer humanity, going monster hunter on a sapient being is kind of evil.
>Makes Seiros very angry and go into dragon rage
>Aligns with her simp Wilhelm, defeats Nemesis and the 12 elites
Sounds like the heroic protagonist.
>Establishes the church of Seiros as proxy rule over her subordinates in the Empire, and then later, the Kingdom and Alliance, using religion as cover
Talk to both /his/ and /pol/. Religion is needed for peace.
>Wields an army, with her inner circle sharing her immortal blood, including the Captain of the Knights of Seiros.
How is that bad?
>She uses this crest stone and creates another subject, Sitri, your mother
>Sitri does not manifest into Sothis, ends up serving as a nun
>Jeralt, the captain of the Knights of Seiros befriends your mother
>Sitri marries and gives birth to you, a stillborn
Sitri is literally created as an artificial being and allowed to live a normal happy life.
>Rhea kills your mother, whether this was with or without Sitri's permission, nobody knows other than Rhea.
>Implants the crest stone of Sothis into you. Still without emotion or a heartbeat
Sitri was going to die anyway remember? So of course she would beg Rhea to take her "heart" out to save Byleth.
part 1
>Visits the monastery, Rhea decides out of nowhere to make you a professor and put Jeralt back as Captain
>Jeralt grows suspicious of this
>Tells you: "Don't trust Rhea."
Natural reaction
>"He [Jeralt] said you were frightening" - Byleth to Rhea
>After you merge with Sothis and gain green hair, Rhea wants you to sit in the throne room with the hopes of Sothis taking over your host body.
No, she wants (You) to remember being Sothis. She doesn't know that the both of you are two separate beings.
>Edelgard stops the ceremony just in time, sick of seeing the never ending crest experiments
Byleth was not in any danger, since Sothis gave Byleth all her power already.
>Rhea goes on a rampage again and turns into an angry dragon, nearly kills everyone in the tomb
Only for CF path, where you literally betray her, since Edelgard did every in at this point.
part final
I enjoyed the characters designs and I enjoyed the gameplay. That being said there is very difficult to fuck up so much I end up not enjoying SRPG gameplay so take that with a grain of salt.
Moving on to the writing though. It is the worst writing you will ever see in your life. Positively abysmal.
>Moving on to the writing though. It is the worst writing you will ever see in your life. Positively abysmal.
*blocks your path and shits on the carpet*
>Sitri was going to die anyway remember?
According to Rhea. The one who didn't tell anybody about it. The one who constantly lies. She is the only witness to this. Both Jeralt and Alfrec, the two closest to Sitri, both question this.
Looks like a lot of people like it. I think the gameplay style of 3H would transfer well to Crusader Kings as they both put a lot of focus into character management and relationships, as opposed to other grand strategy games like Europa Universalis or Hearts of Iron that tend to focus more on the nation-building or large-scale warfare.
If 3/4 of the routes in 3H are where you "follow your brain" (ie, what Claude, Seteth and Dimitri tell you to do), then CF is where you FOLLOW YOUR HEART BABY
see . The whole game is one giant plate of unreliable narration from literally everyone.
>The one who constantly lies.
No different that Edelgard (aka Rhea 2.0) who also lies to you, and never takes responsibility for being an accomplice to your Dad's death.
Edelgard is pretty hot when she becomes a giant fucking monster.
I don't usually get to post this image.
I liked it for what it is instead of comparing it to the rest. The maps were not the best, but I enjoyed thinking about each student's build, using battalions, gambits, combat arts. Teaching them and getting new abilities felt great. It can quickly snowball into overpowered units that can break maps in half.
If it's pure niggas on a chessboard the older FEs are better, but I liked the build approach too.
If that is what you wish...
What's her team?
lol
Artificial mons.
Good potential mogged down by a boring second half, garbage presentation (Its a Koei Tecmo standard), and a hit-or-miss cast. You'll either love it or be indifferent to it. I loved it at first.
>shh I'm looking at sensei-window
I'll be fucking angry if we don't get to play with villains in Three Hopes, Warriors roster was so disappointing.
Fire, Dark, and Poison types that are artificial.
I'd love Cornelia to be playable.
Entei for obvious reasons. Nothing else. Just that.
More like Porygon.
