Post locations from Breath of the Wild that its sequel can expand upon. Places that weren't accessible for one reason or another in the original game and what you think would be there. You're also welcome to post races, enemies, and mechanics you believe will make it into the new game.
An obvious choice for an area would be the bottomless pit in the YIga hideout as the game plans to expand into the underground. Also where do you think Link is located when he gets his cursed arm?
some places in BotW are clearly underused The whole Farron region for example, none of the main quests leads you there, so they can clearly expand it.
Brayden Johnson
>Akkala Citadel >AoC literally reveals it's entire interior. It will need some underground entrance or something I guess.
Juan Bennett
I’m really hoping for underwater sections, a dungeon at least. Really I’d prefer an entire ocean to fuck around in but I doubt we’ll get that.
Anthony Cox
If they at least allow us to have the Zora armor to allow us to dive and breath underwater to help us pick up any ore that dropped to the bottom, I will be happy.
Jackson Powell
This can apply to the Herba region as well. Maybe we can get the Yeti race back from Twlight Princess
Jayden Myers
Akkala would be an obvious one.
But I would like to see more in the Hebra mountains also.
Camden Russell
I wonder where Link will wake up this time around. Zelda games traditionally start with Link waking up. It probably won't be Hateno.
Akkala Citadel wasn't destroyed in AOC so it looking the same is unlikely
Bentley James
It's probably not a priority for the devs, I'm afraid, but it would be so great if they upgraded the swimming mechanics just a tad bit. Also, give us a fishing rod already.
>100 years and no exiled male Gerudo that was abandoned by his mother, but at leasted raised by his Hylian father, who lives either in Hateno village or some cabin in Hebra as an easter egg. Missed opportunity right here. Imagine his sitting by the fire as he is actually a nice decent guy that giver you spicy food once a day to keep you warm.
"You know... in another time, I could have been a King you know..."
Yeah, I know, but I'm tempering my expectations so not to be disappointed. All they've focused on so far was the sky islands after all.
Nathan Rivera
>post Creating a Champion h Such a great artbook. I should really sit down one evening and flip through it.
I dunno why I keep buying artbooks and never flip through them...
Jace Mitchell
After delaying it to make a total 6 fucking years dev cycle for a game that started out as simple DLC for the first game, you think an asset relift would have taken to be completed sooner.
Bentley Clark
That's still not very much to work with, can you imagine playing the same map all over again and retreading the same areas what are they just going to put dungeons in the ground again where there was not before? They totally fucked themselves by trying to make a sequel to the first game. The Zelda franchise is over there's nowhere left Nintendo can go but they'll keep pumping out more iterations in the series because of fanboys and Link will just become more and more gay.
Hunter Roberts
is that roger waters

Since Ganondorf is still alive he's preventing any other Gerudo males from being reborn
Chase White
Source? Nowhere does any Zelda lore says that anywhere.
The the first Gerudo NPCs I met, along with that old hag that sits next to the goddess statue, tells me that it's RARE for a male Gerudo to be born. That implies that they are still born sometimes. If Ganondorf had kept a male from being born for OVER 10,000 years, said characters would just say that "there is no such thing as male Gerudo" instead.
Christian Lopez
That’s plenty to work with since the base map is already massive
Nolan Hill
I feel bad for tendies. botw2 will look and run like shit on the switch
Zachary Reed
In the Sheikah village with his wife Paya
Carson Sanchez
I mean, of course. But we don't know what more features they will be introducing. So it's better not to expect too much until we have more info.
Mason Peterson
Gonna dump some wallpapers that would make good locations
I still think if that no clip shit Link has going on here is the reason why this game is taking so long. If they let the players actually use that anywhere, that would be a nightmare to develop in a giant open world game.
Isaac Rogers
>there will be a new sky biome littered with numerous islands >there will be whole cave systems >there will be themed dungeons >there will be new mounts to include the return of Loftwings >there will be new items such as the Hookshot, as well as the return of the Roc's Cape and Pegasus Boots >there will be a full blown season system in the surface overworld >there will be numerous new enemy types >there will be numerous new clothing types >there will be an overhaul to the durability system that will appease everyone >there will be no companions nor any ability to play as Zelda
BotW lore says they hadn't had a male gerudo be their king, not one that hasn't been born. It's perfectly reasonable that a male Gerudo could be wandering around but not allowed to enter Gerudo Town as some superstition that males are bad luck due to Calamity Ganon.
Jayden Jackson
>If Ganondorf had kept a male from being born for OVER 10,000 years He has
Jace Scott
The entire tropical section in the southeast of the map. I lost some hours exploring that area and it was fun but it could have had something more in it. There were a lot of mysterious statues that could have led to somewhere really interesting but nope.
Jayden Brooks
There is literally no lore that says that.
Brody Evans
I have hope that the inclusion of skydive combat will lead to underwater combat. No way they develop full 3dimensional combat in the air and not apply it to water. Also give me a fishing tool and a fishing waifu
Lucas Morris
There’s also that beach village that’s not involved with the overall story.
Logan Brown
The Zonai? Maybe BotW2 will explore more about these mystery niggers.
>there will be whole cave systems Appreciate the positivity but after the trailer I really think they'll focus completely on the sky and anything else will be very minimal additions. It's a shame, I really think a massive underground world beneath a familiar but expanded map with new details would be the best way to go.
Bentley Bell
Cool thanks.
Lucas Mitchell
>There’s also that beach village that’s not involved with the overall story.
I loved that. I loved that you could just find this whole village that had fuck all to do with anything.
I was always kinda intruiged by Makor Island of the Dead near the Lost woods as well.
Levi Sanchez
They'll prolly have the same general map shape but there's gonna have to be massive blackreachesque underground caverns aswell as big sky islands dotted all over the place. There also better be actual dungeons, that we my (and it seems to be everyone's) biggest complaint about botw
Austin Gomez
A male Gerudo wandering around would've been found by now
Matthew Martin
the one part of the trailer where he was fighting the big foreskin with the flamethrower shield was in a cave. they also said the sky islands are only one way the map is expanded, i think caves are a safe bet. i hope the continent itself is expanded too though
Nathaniel Rogers
Based and canonpilled
Oliver Gonzalez
It’s implied
Bentley Richardson
Makor Island was such a puzzling location. There's nothing there. I heard that it's a reference to the original LoZ.
Jace Mitchell
The ceiling jump mechanic is absolutely suited for underground traversal. This is one of the things I'm fairly confident is going to be in.
Lucas Harris
are you talking about that small island just west of lost woods that confused me too, it really is literally nothing. not even any ingredients to pick up
Brandon Price
Just like how the goddess Hylia should have had some temple dedicated to her in OoT?
It's not. Gerudos just say it's rare, not old legends. After 10,000 years Gerudo would just assume their race just don't have any males.
Wyatt Gomez
>the one part of the trailer where he was fighting the big foreskin with the flamethrower shield was in a cave. Some speculate that location is an interior area in one of the islands, given the architecture. There will be caves, but I don't think we will be seeing extensive cavern systems. >i hope the continent itself is expanded too though This is what I want the most, seeing a glimpse of the lands beyond Hyrule.
Brandon Peterson
Corona very taihen please understando.
Dylan Richardson
>I heard that it's a reference to the original LoZ.
With the dead tree? Possibly yeah. Makor was an important character in Zelda lore. The proto korok. Nintendo would want that place to hold some kind of significance?
Easton Rogers
Ultra super sekrit leaker here, the reason why BoTW2 has been delayed, is because Miyamoto, Aonuma, and Koizumi have been playing Elden Ring in their off time, like A LOT. They are having lots of fun with it, but do feel the difficulty really holds back its broad appeal, but mainly above all else, its the map, the overworld, and the size and ideas within it that has their interest. It was around the time that Koizumi reached the third area, he looked to his left and stated "Aonuma-san...this game..." and he looked back with a serious look, and stated outright "this is it, this is what I've pictured and wanted for so long for Zelda, they did it, they actually did it, my appreciation and jealously is immense, why did it turn out this way?" and Miyamoto stated back "Aonuma-san, we already had to delay the first BoTW before, we could not delay it again to do this for that game, but I feel if we were given more time, BoTW2 however, we will make your dream a reality". The game's world and design has really inspired them all, you should be expected a interview in a few months about it.
Joseph Adams
>tcl on >tcl off TES has been doing it for decades.
Anthony Jones
>I heard that it's a reference to the original LoZ. >With the dead tree? Possibly yeah.
There's plenty of callbacks to the other games in BotW but that isn't one of them, sometimes a tree is just a tree
Chase Foster
blessed post
Connor Nelson
Here's what I want, I want all monolithsoft faggots kicked from the zelda team and for them to take their weeaboo open world shit with them >LOOK MORTY A JAPANESE SYMBOL ON LINK'S WEAPON JUST LIKE THE MOONADOH TIME TO KILL GOD
when do retards ever learn Nintendo has not once, nor ever given a shit about what the other guys are doing You would think the N64, Wii, Switch etc all would have spelled that out by now
Landon Bailey
To go fully into the realm of delusional, I want Ganondorf's flying fortress to become a moving dungeon. The castle will travel in real time to every city in some procedural order and land on top of a burial grounds. The castle will adapt itself to the region's climate transforming the dungeon, aka in Zora's Domain half the castle would be underwater. Ganondorf has attained ReDead magic and conjures ReDeads of the Zora/Goron/Rito/Gerudo to fight in and around the castle. After opening the catacombs of each city Link has to venture into them and use his sealing arm to prevent Ganondorf from abusing the dead. Totally going to happen.
Jayden Baker
Not japanese
Jace Cox
That's not kanji. And we don't even know if it's an actual symbol.
Sebastian James
Set up a camp and rest there until night.
Isaiah Jenkins
You'll be mobbed by Stal if you do that.
Brayden Miller
They play other console games and have inspiration from them all the time, its not about competition, its about taking pride in creating games and noticing when good games are made.
Blake Baker
There's just a bunch of skeletons
Liam Allen
botw > er nuff said
Joshua Perry
BotW was made specifically because they gave a shit about what the other guys were doing
Nicholas Roberts
This dude's been actually seething about that fucking symbol since it was revealed
