Literally all the original operators looked like what people imagine them in movies because Ubisoft were to lazy to do their research and probably couldn't accept that most of these groups looked similar to each other.

That's just the natural law of cosmetics. Any game whose business model works off making the bulk of its cash off selling cosmetics(especially if it's F2P) is going to steadily escalate to ostentatious insanity regardless of the art style.

I will never forget the time I spent with it from 2015-2019, but that last year and a half was really jsut breaking point after breaking point. What were they thinking with those new map designs? I thought nu-hereford was the worst it could get. I was wrong.

If they want players back, they need to add a classic mode to matchmaking that's just the original and year 1 operators and accompanying maps

But I like most of the operators from between 2015-2018. Maverick was so much fun. On Favela, he was insanely fun. Ubisoft decided to balance around an extremely niche group of elite pro gaymurs rather than balance around fun for the majority. Stinks.

Sledge had the Mac11 since beta, but 5 years after release it suddenly needs to go, making the only viable shotgun playstyle on attack obsolete
